plea from Blotchville central

I have red blotches all over my face and neck/chest type are. now this could either be alcohol poisoning as I went for it big time on saturday (time of year - won't apologise for being an old soak) or it could be our annual picnic in the park yesterday that was quite warm. I'm not sunburnt but it could be heat rash. Any suggestions - I've tried calomine but it's not helped. Zoe

cheers Linda - I'd not thought of that - I was gonna try my neices exczema cream - but thats steroids so may make it worse

i agree with Linda re the antihistamines this could be hay fever my son came out in blotches like that after playing golf with his uncles Bev

zoe, did you not take any antihistamines, sounds like youve got an allergy to something. would seek medical advice as its getting worse. jean

Jean - yep. we had Piriton in the cupboard which I've taken. Maybe me stressing about it isn't helping. I'm not vain - I pretty much go without make-up on a day-to-day basis as I can't see the point in it - but there's no way I can leave the house like this.

zoe, I think you should give nhs direct a ring, tell them youve took piriton but rash is getting worse. jean

Bev you've obviously seen the weeds knee high in my Mum's garden then!!! Wonder if she'll venture out to get me a doc leaf. It'll prove how much she loves me I suppose LOL
