We find b/w nice to visit when we don't have anything in particular we want to buy - for window shopping, lunch etc. But if we're looking for holiday clothes we go to Lakeside or somewhere else even though b/w is just up the road. B/w has more expensive shops so few places to find cheap and cheerful stuff for the beach etc - especially for kids (no woolies, adams reduced in size recently, no primark). Angela

I agree there's lots of lovely malls & places for coffee & eats. we had a lovely meal there the last time we went was the pizza place but in their restaurant side. I like it there, dont get me wrong, BUT as I have a bad back its not somewhere for me for just a stroll around have bought sandals at a great price & we like the kitchen shop near John Lewis's. So go and see for yourself Shirley

When I've been it tends to get manic when the kids get out of school and since Monday is a bank holiday, it could be busy. When ever you go I recommend you go earlyish so if it starts getting crazy you can leave. General advice:- Wear comffy shoes - you'll need them Don't wear hats, hoods, hoodies etc - you could find yourself being asked to leave. Do check your bank balance before going (you could see more than you can afford) Have fun!!

Hello, I live 10 minutes from Bluewater and am no where near a size 8, but love it and there are shops for all. I think John Lewis is now open mondays, although it used to close. Plenty of places to eat, never seems really really busy inside but can seem busy on the roads. However, the only really manic times I find are prior to christmas, shouldnt take that long to get there tomorrow or monday. Well worth a visit in my opinion. There are 3 big anchor stores and all your other high street names along side. Hope you decide to go and enjoy your first visit to Bluewater, its much better than Lakeside! Jayne

John lewis isnt open on a Monday cos they open Sunday's. we've been on a monday & found it Ok theres always shoppers there anyway. Just depends whether you are looking for anything specific. It wasnt my cup of tea!! cos I,m no longer a teenager with a size six figure,. Too many boutiquey shops for my taste & Size!! Shirley
