I am really fed up as my husband is watching some stupid television programme and my son has gone out and my dad has had four strokes in the last five weeks and is quite poorly, tomorrow we have a meeting at the hospital and I am really scared as I don't know what they are going to tell me and he was not very good today, he can still talk although quite slurred and told me that he had a funny turn this morning and when I questioned the nurse she said he had 'fainted', unfortunately there is only me so I don't have anyone to share my fears with except a good friend who I have spent the evening having sex on the beach with, (the cocktail drink) may be best if I go off to bed and hopefully will understand with a clear head all the hospital tell me tomorrow, thanks for being there. Sorry your dad is so poorly and hope the conversation goes well with the docs tomorrow and they offer some positive comments. I am sure if your dad is determined enough he will make progress, my mum had a stroke and gained her speech fully again after a while. Liz |

So sorry to hear about your dad Pam, hope all goes well for you at the hospital. In my experience all you can do for your dad is of course be there with him as much as you can, giving him lots of hugs and kisses. Thinking of you and yours. Mau XX |
