The English bluebells are in flower and the Spanish variety are still in bud. The hybrids will be just starting to flower. I have all three varieties. Brian (i) |

I was looking out for bluebells in the local woods as we passed in a car at the weekend..... None in bloom yet. My garden bluebells are not showing colour yet, either. |

Mine are in bud. Have thousands of them. Hate the pink ones which to me are wishy washy, and think they are the results of the bees doing their work on the blue, and white ones. Happy days |

Harry.......when I got mine, I wanted bluebells, they said they only had mixed, which I bought, only to discover that they all came out Pink! So I put them all together in a long bed bordering my patio, and they do look lovely. I'm desperate to get my hands on some blue ones this year though.......for higher up the garden, I have the perfect spot for them.........just hope I find some? Jen |

Jen, I much prefer the white ones and dig the blues up and plant them on an un-used patch of ground outside my house. They grow luxuriantly and the children pick them, like us older ones once did. I have a lot in pots and gave some away only yesterday - almost certainly white ones - he wanted blue as well. (pink probably do look well on their own) Happy days |
