Do you mean ''do women''? Actually - when i lastwashed mine i read the label to see temp etc and it actually says to iron it after washing. its a polyester one though, not a vinyl one (perish the thought!)

I have never ironed a shower curtain in my life, and do not intend to start now. I find regular washing at 60 degrees keeps the mould at bay. Liz

If you wash it at the temperature stated with biological washing powder it gets rid of all the germs, you could also try soaching it in a bio mixture with , you guessed it, white vinegar
