Mrs t is one in a million, there would be non of this fannying about today if she was still top of the pile, and there certinly wouldnt be thousands spent on movings bogs that 'migth' offend muslims!!!!! the Millenium tent would never have been built either, wouldnt it be great to have a strong prime minister again, someone who stood up for this country!!!! |

I don’t care what anyone else thinks, but for me she was the best Prime Minister we ever had she may not have always been right but she would not sell this country down the river like this lot today, and she had more guts and determination than all the rest put together . Roy, son of a Yorkshire coal miner |

She made some of this country rich. Whilst she was in power London was full of people living in cardboard boxes. All her claptrap about 'no such thing as society' etc just encouraged individual greed and selfishness. I think power went to her head and I have no time for her at all. If she'd treated her cabinet with more respect they wouldn't have deserted her. I remember being on a tube train when the public annoucer said she'd resigned - there was a HUGE cheer. nell |

Helen, the only reason that her cabinet Stabbed her in the back was they could not stand a woman being in charge with bigger b***s than they had Roy |

They stabbed her in the back because she was so unpopular with the electorate. They knew they would never win another election with her in charge. Gwynne |
