Just this minute got my pension claim form..........First time I have come face to face with age..............Not much is it..........

If you are officially old, heaven help me, lol No the pension isn't much and if you have any other income, its all lumped together and you are taxed on it. I have paid tax all my life and I am fed up with still paying it, I wish I had never joined that club,lol june xx

I am old. There is a sublety here. Some years ago people used to look at me ask if I was an OAP (cinema.s and the like). Now they don,t even ask. Pensions are poor, but at least we are getting one. will the youngsters of the future be so ....... Happy days

I couldn't live on that, i had no idea it was so little......Luckily I have other money and inheritence,,,,,,,all taxed.......

Polly Anna dear!! *passes Polly a hankerchief to dry up tears* You're not old! You're my friend, and all my friends are my age. So lady you are still in your 30s!! You've also got a 17year old wanting to stay with you which thankfully you've got out of. (so far:-)) So think positive. It could be worse. You could be Lemon this week.

Crikey chuck... you're not the only one that has had those forms... I got forms coming out my ears... have the BIG ONE this year... don't feel 60 but it's crept up slowly and got to admit that this year... I get me bus pass!!! Anne:)))

we do get a heating allowance and free prescriptions . that is our lot I think.....Do we get anything off trains journeys and buses are free up here..........*Trying to be a right Pollyanna *here............It is nit until you actually see the form, it hits you............Me, the swinging little dolly-bird..........******* Sobs*********whre did it go ???

Oh dear, I know that feeling. It wasn't the pension form or the 60th birthday that got to me.......it was my grand-daughter having her 21st birthday. Heather

Thank you all..Ithought I was old...........It is only a number *tris to convince self* today husband and i have moverd a 550 oil gallon tank 100 yards UPHILL.................Can't be that bad..............
