Ok, after an hour of hubby whinging, loft climbing and saying, 'Why did you have to have something new?' the woman of the house took charge (even the poor dog had hidden by now cos husband humpy) Guys, sorted in five minutes . HOW you ask? Because the woman of the household phoned the shop and they told her how to switch over to DT! Once again - what can you say about men eh? (Their old teeshirts make good dusters?). I have to admit I have a slight problem which I hadnt noticed when I was on phone - cant get picture to work that well through the DVD - shop closed now, so if anyone has any ideas. Meanwhile, hubby has come in - shocked but not saying well done, is lying on floor with a cup of tea and his mouth agap at the fantastic picture and sound. |

I ALWAYS think instructions look so much clearer after I've had a large Martini ( in a PINT glass) Have you tried this? |

Heather We just brought a samsung flat screen too. What is the problem with it? Have you managed to pick up freeview yet? Tracy |

Yes Barry, done that. Been up in loft screaming at each other as aerial moved (it is a digital one we got for freeview). Tried to automatic channel storing but it just goes through picking up rubbishy snowy channels. Its maddenining. Im sure if we could understand the instructions it would be ok. Just so wanted something to cheer us up and instead its made hubby worse. |

So to cheer us up with a bit of retail therapy, just gone and bought home a new Samsung LCD tv. Do you think the old man can get it to work?? Nope. Why dont they have easy to follow instructions. |
