I dont even know what colour my hair would be now - I went blond when I started to get more grey than I could pull out without having bald patches.

I asked my hairdresser that once, and he said it was just an old wives tale. If it were true, all us ladies would have forests for eyebrows, whereas if you do pluck regularly, the root gives up and the hair doesn't grow back at all. Liz

Yes I can vouch for that re eyebrows - mine were plucked so much when I was young they are only half way across the area they used to cover, so only have the outside ends! Have been plucking the hairs on my legs for a few years now and they are getting less and less, so saves on shaving or using cream so often. If I were slimmer, I could pluck out even more but my arms can only stretch so far past my stomach to my legs and they get tired after a while!!

That true about the eyebows,,,my sister has plucked hers so much that they are too short now,,they only come halfway across her eye and stick up at the ends,,,she looks like Foo-Mann Choo

I love having my eyelashes dyed,, makes them look so much thicker and longer Kay,,,something i just remembered, my sister was quite ill about a year ago with gall stones, I went to see her in hospital and the gall stones had blocked her common bile duct,,,she was a beautiful shade of lemon,,,looking more like Foo Man Choo than ever,
