Trish, did you hear about the couple who saved the top portion of their wedding cake in the freezer, and brought it out for their 25th anniversary? Only to find out that it was just a piece of styrofoam covered with icing? |

I once put the oven on to put a casserole in ready for dinner when I came home from work. Got home only to find the casserole on the side and oven on but empty. Ladies who lunch - now there's an idea. :-))) |

Trish maybe we should form a club. I put bacon and sausage under the grill for my dinner. When I just went to check them I found I'd forgot to turn the grill on lol. Oh well at least they didn't burn lol. |

I'm lucky - OH finally decided to take over in the kitchen dept. We've had far less rows since then! Sharon xx |

Glad I'm not the only one who does things like this - have come to realise there is more to life than food - wine being top of my list at the moment! Sharon xx |

My chicken pie I dug out of the freezer last week, turned out to be apple. Decided not to serve it with gravy! So we had vegestables then pudding! Lx |

Dinner today was to be roast beef (some already cooked and sliced in freezer, but now thawing on kitchen worktop), yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, parsnips and some lovely fresh cabbage. Potatoes were done so unwrapped the meat from freezer only to find some raw braising steaks. Forgot to do the yorkshires entirely. On my plate I had roast potatoes and cabbage, hubby was lucky and also had a parsnip. He's talking of divorcing me at the moment - Oooops. |
