As Laddo isn't allowed much choclate said he could have an England shirt for a present (got to get ready for World Cup Fever) for Easter He didn't want a plain one but one with Owen on....How can the shops justify the prices they are charging when I have got one, new in wrapper and with all tags on off Ebay for a lot less. Someone is making a lot of money out of sports mad people

Where do you think the footballers get their grossly inflated wages from love? It's disgusting. Glad you got him one any way. I never bought Easter eggs for mine... another con' I used to buy them a bar of chocolate, and/or a little gift. No, I'm not a meany. I'm very generous actually. ;-P) Deanna X

Deanna as he isn't meant to have it they usually get money from my parent now and my sister asked if she could buy them some so I said only one each. Eldest I have booked her in to have her hair washed cut and dried (she doesn't know yet) but she wants choclate as well. Tiddler will probably buy her some clothes and a little egg. As for footballers and their ages I think it is disgusting all a lot of them do is dive and roll on the floor when noone is near them

Jacqueline I looked in all the sports shops and they were expensive. I'm lucky in that he doesn't ask for brand names, he is still wearing his england shirt from the last world cup which is now getting small so as a treat thought he could have one for Easter.

Dean's boys are having England shirts for Easter too. Thing is we would probably buy them one anyway so giving them the shirts for Easter is just an excuse so they don't think they can have new shirts all year round! Ellie is going to have a Wakefield Wildcats rugby shirt and they are probably dearer than the England shirts! Jack (Who might just buy herself an England shirt for Easter too!) x

I agree with Jacqueline, for anything sporty try soccerworld or sports world as they are sometimes known. Wonderfully cheap stuff in their shops. I get all my kids england shirts in there (all four of them) and the old mans!!!!!! Think last time it came to about £110 for all five.. which isn't cheap but is a lot cheaper than other places.

I was in New Zealand a few years back and wanted to bring back a NZ shirt for my son.............I nearly bought one then noticed it was made in China.... store owner explained that it was to keep costs down.........so they are now cheaper ? no exactly the same price...I bought an Australian shirt that was made in NZ...both the same price....about £45

There is a sports shop in Maidenhead that are selling them with a FULL REFUND OF THE COST if we win!! Great marketing!!
