I didn't know you could send messages if you were not a full member???? And so the question continues.... how are they doing it? Deanna X |

Hi Linda I had a message the other day asking for permission to see my tree. I had not heard from this person before so I answered back asking what connection he thought we had. Have not received an answer yet. No body sees my tree unless I can varify info they give me. Wine Trifle (aka Dianne) |

The main reason they can't see my tree is because they don't have permission and they're not going to get it in any shapeor form! |

Unpaid members can:- read message boards, post to Success and trying to find boards and reply to messages. Full paying Members can:- Read and post on all boards, iniciate contact and reply to contact messages, look at other members trees if given access. The only way they could iniciate contact but would not be able to see your tree, is if they were full paid up members when they contacted you but they have now let their subscription lapse. |

This is one I shall choose to ignore and if they suddenly become a member, they're not getting access to my tree either. LInda |

I got the contact from them first - I don't think I'm getting the whole truth somehow. Linda |

'I am not actually a member so I can't see your tree. ' 'my email address is [email protected], so could you export your tree and email it to me. I can then match up our data and email it back to you directly.' The above are copied and pasted directly from a contact - I thought you couldn't mail unless you were a member? I haven't replied.
