Hi Sandra I have read the Victorian House as suggested earlier and it is brilliant. Somebody on the tips board a few months ago recommended. Victorian London Life of a City 1840-1890 by Lisa Picard and that's excellent too. :0) |

Phillimores do a very good series called Times Past (I think) I was reading one last night called WImbledon Past. If you know the area you rellies came from then its worth looking to see if there's one about there specific location. I've seenthem for all areas e.g. Glasgow Past, Richmond Past, Camden Past etc etc |
