You would love the shop that I work in but it is only up north HERONS FROZEN FOODS Their head quarters ar in Hull but they have over 100 shops around. Yesterday I got 3 twin packs of bernard matthews turkey steaks for £1. People were going crazy and buying loads to put in thier freezers. It is a good shop at times. Most of the frozen foods are cheaper than in the main supermarkets but the stuff they get for the chiller is usually short dated so they turn it out real cheap. This week they have been having the milk with omega 3 in it. 29p for a 2 litre. |

I love a bargain - but I have to pass the crown as Bargain Shopping Queen to my daughter. When she was wee I used to send her to Tesco (we didnt have an Asda) with a fiver to get whatever she could for the money - she used to come home laden down with several carrier bags full of goodies AND change! |

Trout was great. My evening meal yesterday cost less than 30p thanks to daughters' Asda bargains. They calculated how much they saved on the prices comparing yellow ticket to full price......... over £18. |

When I look in asdas reduced section it seems to be all the things that were over priced in the first place and even when reduced I think they are still too expensive |

I got a real bargain yesterday from Peacocks. I have already bought easter eggs for my 2 oldest grand children and wanted to get an easter bib for the baby, or one with a duck or something on. Went into peacocks who had a sale on and ended up buying a baby coat reduced from £10 to £1 Thought it was a mistake at first then I realised it was on the £1 sale rack. So she has a coat size 6m to 12m for easter. She is growing rather quickly so it should fit her soon. |

Always - was taught by my mum, and I taught my son, have also taught my o.h. Trouble is he thinks if something has a reduced sticker on it's a bargain, but that's not always the case. Had to buy a bigger freezer cos I was always arriving back with huge bags of goodies. Sometimes, the special offers still go through the till, like buy two for £5 etc so by the time the till has taken the deduction off, the shop sometimes ends up paying me to take the things home!!! |

oh dear have got to admit to this...... only this afternnon i brought 6 mini chicken & mushroom puddings 10p each, instead of 40p tin of tuna 20p each instead of 42p, and salmon pieces reduced from over a fiver to 1.50 kids had the salmon for tea, and the tuna and pudding have gone in the cupboard as they have good dates... in fact the tuna is in date until 2008 |
