Except that confessionals are generally between a parishoner and a priest, not umpteen people!

only if you want them to, my son(lol) Message boards are a safe outlet though, which has both advantages and disadvantages. I confess to not being a party animal, and not being great with big crowds. With these boards I can dip in and bow out at leisure. Unfortunately so can those who want to cause trouble. Angela

They don't for me. I wouldn't dream of consulting people I don't know from Adam about my personal problems, nor would I take advice from someone on a website and act on it without checking it first, unless it was genealogy-related. I regard GR as a sort of 'genealogy club', where members can mix and consult or discuss with one another. Inveitably, friendships will build up, and I would probably consult my GR-based friends if I thought they could help me, and I'd be happy to help them if I could. Anyway, I've nothing to confess. I'm just boring! LOL CB >|<
