:-)))) come to Bognor this weekend, for the first time since 94 (I think) there will be a clown convention. Used to be great fun wandering amid the clowns, watching the toddlers shriek in fear!

Can't stand clowns........frightened by one as child, then plucked out of a crowd of people by one as adult at circus..............must be my face or something????????? Probably looks good for a laugh!!!!!!!! Lin xx

:-))) yeah, they're pretty strange. Was always a struggle not to be the one picked on in the street to be a target! don't think I got close enough to comment on their honking habits!

Zoe - I think Butlins is housing the clowns, but most of the stuff will be around the town/ seafront. Always used to be like that anyway, a few stage type areas and clowns just wandering. xx Jen

Zoe - yup, procession through the town on Sunday March 12. Grand clown parade will start at Butlins at noon, along seafront, round town ending at 4pm. 'Over 100 clowns take to the streets...' I shall take mini GB twins to meet them - hope there's a pink clown! :-))))

The only clowns I saw as a child were in Enid Blyton's circus books. I just think it's an unusual sight, a town of clowns. Christine - if what I said about enjoying the shrieks of toddlers has offended you I will delete that bit no probs xx
