try your local hospital and ask them the nearst gentic centre addenbrookes and barts are are gentic hospitals not sure depends where you live |

hi Ladylol, i was told by doctor it isn't hereditery. My mum died from one so obviously i was concerned. mind you that was in 1980 so they may have found something new since then. try googling...i'm off there now to check. |

id phone gentics centre and ask what chance is this being hereditery . our family had members all died of same thing, heart attack it seems with the men as youg as 30 cancer in the women , hereditery and 3 cases of brain haemorrhage , my son [thankfully survived] a cousin an uncle whom both sadly died genetics centre claim may be 75% this being hereditery so worth givin them a call |

my dad was 32,we were told its a weaking / balooning rupture of blood vessels the actuall bleed onto brain can cause the stroke they said if he had lived he would have been a (cabbage) talking 70s here bed side manners lol, the grand father died of heart blood vessels rupturing at 38 this one today cert says 69 still youn ish , another brain haem;. |

Well, it depends ontheir age I should think. This is just another way of saying a stroke, and many many elderly people suffer strokes. |

not a nice thread i know but does any one know if this is hereditary just found 2 people in my tree who didnt no they were related but were died of it thanks lorraine |
