Too close to home for me Lunar, but can understand the interest in it....I just can't watch. Still remember how I heard, where I was and saved newspaper picture of those poor babies, as I couldn't bring myself to put it in the bin. |

I'm watching it too. I was living in the States when it happened and it was front page news there too. What a tragedy. I have 2 young sons and it doesn't bear thinking about.......... I hope all the parents and those affected were able to find happiness during the past 10 years.......... joanne |

I'm watch but I'm practically in tears. My brother was 5 going on 6 at the time in our local primary so even we found it hard to believe. I can't imagin what it was like for everyone closer to the area. I've always wondered what happened as I think I blocked some of the news reprts out of my memory. I would have be 12 at the time and could feel the tension in our community. |

Not watching it but can remember it happening, eldest was at nursery and couldn't wait to go and get her and give her a cuddle. Made me feel ill for ages just the thought of what they went through. |

We are just down the road, and between Falkirk where I live, and Stirling Infirmary the children were taken. That man had also worked with kids on a voluntary basis in Falkirk. It was like a black cloud had descended on our area, the horror of what happened , mixed with the feeling it could have been Falkirk he turned towards instead of Dunblane, it could have been here....then the guilt of thinking that.and feeling relieved........it was a sad sad day. |

I was at college, training as a Nursery Nurse and we found out from one of the students in our year. She had family and friends in Dunblain. It is not something I'm ever likely to forget. Viv |

I remember it vividly. I was Admin Asst. at a primary school for special needs. I had the radio on and heard it and dashed to tell the head teacher who was in the hall watching 6 year olds having a PE lesson !! We were all completely shocked and upset. Still am when I think over it all. That and the Aberfan disaster are images that I will never forget. |

Little Lost | Report | 9 Mar 2006 06:23 |
I was working in a playgroup where anybody could just wander in and out as it was connected to a church. They suddenly increased the security and put a lock on the door then. What shocked me about the programme is they said he had enough ammunition to kill everybody in the school. And yes I did feel sorry for the guy who had lost his wife to cancer and then his little girl Sophie was sot. I did like the picture he chose of the cat and then they showed the cat. There was a picture in the window for each child killed. |
