Well it is only a mock so I do have until May to improve. It's the first 'B' I've ever got for Modern Studies - never got as low as that. It feels bad. It is very disappointing. |

:-(( How can they try to teach modern studies when moden things only excist in the preasent? You've done well in other subjects and I'm sure you'll have the option to resit if you want to. It can't have been worse than my history exam in year 9 (35% - but had a rubbish teacher) LT |

Thank you Daniel and Lunar. I'm a perfectionist people say. My friend did her exams last year and she got AAAAB. She was in tears. |

I'll swap you my English grade! I only sat it about a million times and ended up deciding the examiners had no idea how to mark English so chose the grade at random! (I got D's every time - both in lang and lit) Don't worry about the mocks thay don't count. I studied A'level maths in year 12 and ended the year wirh a U. I loved maths and had done well at GCSE so was gutted. I resat in college doing the 2 year course in 1 year, I got a B, the only way to have gotten an A would have been to ace the last paper. You can up your grades significantly, just believe in yourself. |

Thanks Kaz, And Thank you Lunar. I guess I should be putting things into perspective. I think I tend to over-react. I hope that if I work a bit more I'll be able to improve my grade. The teacher has said that if I have high expectations I should do well. I really do think that that is a load of nonsense. :-) |
