Oh! a great Scottish dish Stovies ummm! lovely basically potato and onions and choped beef mixed up and cooked together Norah maybe someone else can explain it better!

Cold beef, mash and pickles...Mmmm! Depends what you've got in the cupboard - minced up you could fill Canneloni tubes and cover with a cheese, tomato or even a white sauce. Make pancakes and fill with ground beef. Cube it and make like a toad in the hole - call it frog in the bog or something. Curry, chilli, spag bol. Cold meat is easiest! LOL

Is there enough for a shepherds pie. I always think it tastes better made from cooked meat. If not sliced cold with salad & a jacket potatoe and pickles always goes down a treat here
