Has anyone else noticed how something you type out does not always come up correctly, as you wanted it. I just added to Budgie's thread and found that although I had typed the word dot what actually came up was the. I went in to amend what I thought was my mistake, and there was the word dot, so there was nothing to amed. When I returned it to Budgies thread, the error was there again. Is this frustrating or what? Lin xx |

Its probably because GR doesn't like dot! It thinks its a commercial website. you can type all sorts in your message box but that isn't what comes out when you post the message. You need to try *dot* |

I had noticed a couple of times that words had disappeared, making the post sound silly. I went back to a post today, and found it had been triplicated!!, not by me, so I deleted all three. |

.org . co dot .gov just practising what works and what doesnt........ actually you only need to separate the . from the co.. me.)co.)uk |

OK. o.org and .net are OK as is .gov because they aren't commercial organisations. Its only (.)com or (.)co you have to hide. I prefer to say *com as its only one keystroke instead of () two and if you want to cut and paste into your address bar, you only need to delete * and replace with . whereas with () you need to delete two things and I often delete the . by mistake. It's enough to drive you dotty! |
