I don't have any. Dad has informed me that's really unhealthy. Do you think I should be eating some? |

Definitely Lucia! that is part of the reason I gained weight, by skipping breakfast. You give your metabolism a good kick up the rear by eating first thing - and to be efficient, you should top-up on food about every four hours (but not over-eat). I am sure there are people on here that are more knowledgable... |

Yes, and thats official! Not only does it get your metabolism going for the day but research shows that people who eat a healthy breakfast have lower cholesterol than people who don't. That's important to keep you healthy as you get older. Only thing is I'm not taking my own advice today! Angela |

Lucia, I woun't preach as I hardly ever have breakfast, but the others are right when they say breakfast is really important. It kick starts you digestion and metabilation and helps you consintrate. *holds hand out to be smacked/ slapped/ caned* |

And the best one apparently is porridge - it is slow burning so keeps you going until lunchtime. Ann |

Lucia, yes it is really important and for many reasons, concentration at school or work, getting your metabolism working and all the other reasons that people have added. If you don't have time even for porridge, or toast, at least eat some fruit, a banana and an apple can be eaten on the way if you are late (and not cycling!) Did Lukas get in touch yet? |
