The new one is superb! Especially as Roald Dahl didn't like the original (he didn't think it was true enough to the book) but his family LOVED the remake! becx |

Well we can agree to disagree :o) It is more like the book, and I love the book, which is why I like it I guess. I thought the 1 oompa loompa was done really well (although I must admit the songs grated a bit)... best bit was the squirrels though ! |

Paul, Have to disagree... Loved the original, lots of oompa lumpas (sp) not like the new one!! It was the same man.. I have been told the remake is more like the book though.. never read it must admit. Prefer Chitty Chitty Bang Bang LOL Debs x |

since you've said Charlie and the chocolate factory, I assume you mean the remake, rather than the original (which I think was called WIlly Wonka's chocolate factory) ? |
