dont know if this will help. I got so fed up that I went to the doc and got my ears syringed, 20 mins later felt a lot better. Might help brenda

the doc told me that tere was no wax there, it took 20mins to get it out !!

hi julie my tinnitus has been playing up to cant have them syringed as they both have been perforated try sitting upright in a chair and deep breathing in and out it helps me eileen

Eileen Thanks for that its my left ear that plays up the most and thats been perforated twice. I think it could be bad as i am tied and that can make it worst for me. Julie

Try listening to music, concentrating on the one sound helps to block out the other. i have it all the time and have learned to live with it. Sometimes it is worse than others though. Ann glos

Hi hope i'm treading on any toes but have any of you with tinnitus tried hopi ear candles? An excellent safe treatment that doctors are now reccamending in place of syringe. It can't be used on a perforation in the last six months but has had good effects. Prehaps i should mention that i am a holistic therapist and have been trainned to use these, i have had some great results!

bless ya.... can't be nice at all!! My friend had what she thought was something like tinitus and her ears were so blocked they couldn't see the eardrum!! Get it checked and see what they say!!

I've had it for years, i just ignore it as much as possible, although people get annoyed when i don't catch what they say, get fed up trying to explain why, it seem much worse when i'm tired. David
