It just shows that the people today (christ I am sounding old and I am only 38!!) learn absolutely jack **** at school or from books, I have bought my 14 year old a globe (illuminated £9.99 from Lidl, a bargain) because she doesnt know where different countries are!!! I have to show her a map of GB to let her know where Stevenage is in relation to everywhere else!!!! I am shocked at the lack of general knowledge, yet she can programme the recordable DVD, load tunes onto her (and mine) MP3 and generally mess around with photos on this computer in a way that would not have occurred to me!!!

I knew it too. We watch lots of natural history programmes, probably because my husband is a biology teacher. I love seahorses, I could watch them for hours. Louise

I learnt that at school. possibly before you were born. It is oft repeated on wild-life TV documentaries. Len

I think Hans and Lotte Hass were the first people on TV to show male seahorses incubating eggs - or maybe it was Jacques Cousteau. Either way, it was shown on TV decades ago. CB >|<
