Morning Vonny, Good luck with the hearing test. Oooooh sounds like the dentist found a way to lighten your purse yesterday did he? Had a nice sleep-in but then I didn't go to bed till near 12.30 so just catching up on my beauty sleep. Cats must need lots cos they are still sleeping - maybe the visit to the v-e-t yesterday was a shock to their system with injections and thermometers. Have a great day peeps (((((hugs))))) and ~~~~~~~~ for everyone Off to get brekky Gwenda

Good morning Wattlers Strange looking day here on Botany Bay. There is a bit of cloud, with the sun forceing its way thru - making it a hazy looking day. Fortunately a cool change hit here about midnight so the temp is very comfortable and the sea breeze an added bonus. There are only three giraffe necks stretched to the heavens - and as always plenty of activity out my window to keep me occupied. A big day today for another wonderful Wattler . . . can we all send positive vibes to our Peppermint Flake that all goes well for her. Looking forward to the 'I'M RETIRED' message coming thru from her. The dreaded is all done, and I am going to spend the rest of the morning updateing my tree . . . might even get around to putting something back on GR - took it off in Sept when the sky fell in and haven't got around to putting it back on. No wonder the Hot Matches have been a bit quiet . . . . Hope whatever your doing today you are able to do it with a smile luv Laurie

Good morning good people Looks as if we'll be on the slops again tonight - this time in honour of Flakey retiring. Welcome to the club Flakey - I can thoroughly recommend it. Today is the last day I will be on the slow speed as the result of Katherine using up all our fast speed allowance - can't wait until tomorrow. It's been driving me bananas. Queen - just as well Chris can't hear you or he'd be joining you at Bunnings - he just loves Bunnings. Good luck with the hearing test Vonny - Chris sent me for one a few years ago as he said I wasn't responding to what he was saying!!!!!!!! Oh dear - turns out the hearing was fine........... Have a happy day with the FH Laurie. I'm going to clean out some cupboards in the garage. Yukkk Where is the Ice Printheth - have had beautiful photos but maybe her fingers haven't defrosted yet as she is not talking to us. Yoooohoooooo- Printheth!!! I'm off Have a great day everyone Love Anna

Here I am, Anna. The Ice Printheth cometh, lol. I've been lurking in the background, as there has been plenty to do upon my return. Terry also invited guests over for dinner last night!!!!! You'd think he'd have given me one day's break, lol To Our Wonderful Queen Trifles and her fantastic family, well done. You've made it and now for your reward - the Mudgee Meet, pmsl. I've sent more pickles this morning of our Wattie in the snow. He is a very brave bear, that's for sure. Tony, your poems are just brilliant. We expect more at the MM. Good luck to all the Wattler kids going back to school today, particularly Katherine entering Year 12 and for her job. Fingers crossed. That Tiger must be keeping you on your toes, Lara. Don't pamper him too much, he'll learn to expect it, lol Had a sleep in this morning, so had better go and get some brunch. ~~~to all~~~ HRH Dr Ice Printheth

All bits crossed for you today, Flakes. I'm sure it will all proceed okay. As for Wattie, I have discovered that some of his relatives live in the Arctic Circle and apparently he is immune to the cold. I think there's a bit of polar blood in him, lol Good one Duck! I've sent it to all me mates in the USA, as they're the ones obsessed with boobs, etc. HRH Dr Ice Printheth

Hi Donna~~~~~~~I believe those blue bottle stings are very painful. Mark had one once and was in agony. Keep some vinegar with you when you go camping. Flakey....hope everything goes well for you today. Fingers XXXX'd you finish the day retired. Well....we had a lovely time at Bunnings but boy it was hot. I've had a shower now and am feeling a bit weary so I might have a nanna nap. Big hugz Trifley X

Afternoon Wattlers, Very grey and looks like rain but none so far. Hope the hearing test went ok Vonny, I had one last week, nothing to it, I have some lose of hearing but not enough to warrant hearing aids, so will be checked again in 2 years, just another 2 year check to be done. What do men see in Bunnings , I suppose it's the male thing to women's clothes shopping. Hope all is well for your retirement Flakey, have a toast when you finish. The pics are gorgeous of Wattie on the ice Lew. Cheers for now Luv Sandra in the Gong Tomorrow I am meeting a lady who we share the same 4x and 3x Great Grandfathers on my Mothers line she is from WA and we met via hot matches on here, she has been touring 3 states. So should be an interesting day.
