Evening Wattlers, Mary - glad to hear John's op went okay, let's hope it has done the trick Jill - have a great holiday - obviously no room for anyone else in your suitcase so we'll just have to hang out for your diary. Trifley - hope you're back with us asap Jood - safe travelling and enjoy your meet with Wilson Tassie - have a good weekend - take care on the roads too Question for Queenslanders - when you sign up for electricity can you arrange a direct debit on a fortnightly basis so that the bill isn't a huge shock when it comes in and if you can, can you also just be paying the set amount and not clearing the whole bill each quarter - hope that's as clear as mud. In the ACT it was called 'set and forget' when we first signed up and now they average out our fortnightly payments over the previous 12 months. Reason I'm asking is daughter is moving to Cairns next Friday and will need to find somewhere to live so apart from rent she'll also be up for utilities and I'm hoping she can spread her expenses out a bit. Back to the ironing, catchya later Gwenda |

Morning Wattlers, I had big plans of being first on here this morning to wish our Ducky a great birthday....have a 'me' day Ducky....enjoy but Mr Bracks had other ideas...if he turns the power off for a few hours he might manage to save some power and wreck everyones day...pppppp Going to be warm today,so will be off to do the groceries early and stay out of the heat. For all those who asked...my first day of retirement was spent, running to banks, motor reg, on phone to insurance co,and starting the mammoth effort of cleaning the study and fitting all my office stuff in. Think I'll need to go back to work for a rest if this keeps up...lol I think I spent most of the day on the phone, even had a call from Royalty. Keep cool everyone...back later Flakey |

good morning all Happy Birthday to you Happy Bithday to you Happy Birthday dear Duckie Fluffy Pam Happy Birthday to you . Have a lovely day it was so nice talking to you this morning , please come and say hello on here again soon. To all that remembered Jamies story yes it's great to hear he is getting better slowly but surely. Flaky I can't remember if I congraulated you on your freedom yet if not I am now congatulations to you and Roy. Now you will be so busy you will wonder how you ever fitted work in . We have a major dilema now in this family for Cassie's wedding we have a very spoilt (our fault) much loved little boy called Billie and we have no idea what we are going to do with him , while we are in Fiji for 5days , we will not put him in a kennel , he would have a heart attack being locked in cage , he can't stay at Cassie's she is getting a house sitter that works so she will lock Sampson (Cassie's Golden Retriever) out side all day again Billie would have a stroke locked out all day especially with Sampson who wants him to play all the time and Billy doesn't know he is a dog and won't play . We have thought of shouting my girlfriend a trip up there to mind him at the van park where will have the van but we don't know if she will yet, the message is Don't spoil your dog it makes a rod for your Back ,.I guess by August something will come along to help us solve the problem. Mary hope John is okay and on the mend . sorry got to go and pick up the son and heir so will say c u later on tonight bye Love Lara |

Quack Quack Fluffy Duck, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Have a really really nice day today Pam. ((hugs)) Morning all, well I’ve been to the gym today I fell off the wagon there for a while getting so tired and busy at New Year, but have got back up on the horse and I must say after a workout and a shower I feel great. I will try to go one early morning next week – the old bod has protested greatly at 6am starts lately. Tony if you were coming through Albury in a month the new Highway would be open! I think they are talking about March 5th, six months ahead of schedule! It’s really ugly to us town people not used to such monstrous roads, but we’ll get used to it. Anyone familiar with Albury would know how painful it has been to have all those B-double transports through town all day and night. The through-pass should make quite a bit of difference to traffic patterns. 7 am on a Friday – yep, perfect timing at our shop, no problems getting a park at that time and the coffee shop nearby (Hudson’s) will have been open for half an hour! Will be excellent for Baz and I to catch up with you and Barb again however briefly. I'll pm you later today with a mud-map. Lol about “retirement” Flakey, I’ve heard so many people say they’ve never been busier, but what fun. But it’s your own schedule now, don’t forget to give yourself a day off now and then ( the blokes sure know how to !) Lara nice to hear about Jamie, I remember when that accident happened. You sound good too, and don’t worry Billie will find a friend to take care of him – maybe a local teenager would visit him everyday for food and walkies? Better not get too far behind my Saturday routine, ~~~~~~~~~ to all, Hz |

Between us . . . with a lot of tooing and frooing and jostling and hissy fits we got the darn thing together and she is now a goer!! Then I got TLR onto the vacum cleaner (cleaning it that is) he pulled it apart and gave it a spruce up . . . suprise suprise . . . it too is working TLR has supassed himself today .. . . not a bandaid in sight !!!! Hope John is a bit better agian today Mary, and that you are not getting yourself too worn out running back and forward. Take care of yourself! Woohoooo . . . Jillaroo have a good one girl !!! Hi folks, first and foremost happy birthday Fluffy duck. If we could see just one feather waft over the tyhread we'd all cheer so loudly we'd probly get banned from the threads!!! Thats how much we miss you. Great letter Tony. A really lovely reminder of the past. Happy travels girls and come back safely. Triff, just think, next month no horrible stuff.Hugz to you. Very glad to hear John has come through well. By now the physios will have had a go at him and he won't be feeling quite so chirpy but thankfully it soon passes We've had a couple of really good days. Himself is looking half way well and I've been doing F H . and finally worked out how to add more then ten children onto Legacy which I'm working on at home, Found a rellie who married at 12yrs and had fourteen children. Died fairly early. Can't understand why!!! We went to a small evening B-B-Q last night .got there 6pm back home by nine. Himself really enjoyed it and wasn't too worn out. He slept well though. Thanks to all who have sent in the funnies. Keeps him happy for a bit .We've had a good laugh. See you in a bit |
