Hi everyone,, Just home from the hospital as John is in need of a sleep so left him to it,,Will see him in the morning,, He has got all his tubes and appendages out and is now free to explore the ward..LOL The Doc came and saw him and said not to expect things to get back to normal straight away and even then there is no guarantee he will be any different,, am still praying for that miracle, There is one little thing that seems to have improved and that is he can cope with someone running their finger up the sole of his feet,, One little improvement, so lets hope its one of many,, Merle Thanks for the lovely pickle of Yourself and Himself and family..Nice to see who you are talking to..Glad Himself is feeling a little better and you are getting stuck into your tree..I find FH keeps me sane... Tony Just loved the poem for Mudgee,, You are a clever little VB tablet.. Now the important message... HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUCKIE,,, MY BEAUTIFUL ONE..Love Mels pressie..aint she lovely...xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Queenie Relax in Never Never Land and come back when you are back ,,,Just remember this is the end...yyyyaaaaayyyyy Jude DIY What are you doing at work on sat.. get back to the H,,,k,,,lol Are you going up to the Money Pit this weekend.. Loz Isn't TLR a clever boy,, glad the white goods are working again.. perhaps next time when they die you can get a new one.. Heather.. Are you telling me that they have finished the by pass..I don't believe it..after all this time. Will make it so much quieter staying in a motel on the highway now,, The squeaking and screaming or the Semi's brakes used to keep us awake all night..then when you drive through to go to Melb. if you got in the wrong lane you could find yourself heading off to somewhere you didn't want to go,,All the more of a pain when you are towing a van,lol lara So glad to hear that Jamie is so much improved,, a blooming miracle I would say. Poor Billie,, he is a bit of a worry,, I hope you find a solution for him,, Anna Enjoy the family history,, do you go to the library or do you have another place you go,, Ja Hope you are not working but having a rest this weekend.. Flakey Its great to be retired and once you have thing organised you will have so much time to do what you want to do,, its just great,,do the study sorting slowly and relax,,,remember you do not have to have it done by 5pm...clock off time..lol Sandra How come I don't have as much washing as I used to when we had the house..don't understand it.. but I like it,,lol Gwenda Don't work to hard... I am enjoying the rest before the OH comes home , but the drive over to the hospital is a really yukky one and will be glad when he is home and don't have to go there again, Love to all and will get back later.. Mary xxxxxx

Hi Mary I heartily agree. when things get too much around here I can disappear into another world. Specially now he has his own games puter in the kitchen at tha OTHER end of the house. Have just been and done the shopping and we're sitting down to a large coffeeand the most expensive but extra yummy French Vanilla Slice.mmmmmm Now I know it's not strictly diabetics food but that makes it all the tastier.Anyway its fluffy's special day so had to celebrate didn't we. Thats my story anyway. Cat, did your photo arrive? I'm sure you're lurking around somewhere.

Evening...Er'm rather Morning i should say...12:30 here. Just got back from Box Hill Hospital, and been there since 8:00pm The dramas of being grandparents. Grandaughter was dropped off at 7:30 by daughter, as she was going out for the night, with new bo. So we offered to take Britney for the night. At about 8:00pm i heard a blood curdling scream outside, and it was Britney. She had come a cropper off her scooter, ripping two of her toe nails clean off, and a half inch gash under her toes, blood streaming out. Grabbed her quickly, and rushed her into the bathroom, and filled the sink with Dettol and warm water and bathed the cut. ( nasty one ) and new there would be stiches involved. So off to the hospital, as all local doctors were closed. I had her toenails in a cloth and hope they might be able to sew them back on,( wishful thinking ) but Doc. said cannot do,and unfortunatley they wont grow back.( unless micro surgery ) 5 stiches and 4hrs later, all is well, and lucky no toes broken. Might grab a nice port me thinks, and hope for a calmer day tomorrow.....lol Av a good un. Tony Oz...:>)) * who just keeps smiling through it all *

Good Morning Wattlers, Laurie hoping your feeling better this morning. Oh Tony poor Britany so painful, I once had a toenail ripped off , so can sympathise. Joys of being a grandparent. Went for the walk early, the local beach was packed with board riders having a comp, lots of cyclists around and walkers, there is a large ocean pool where I turn around and every morning there are a lot of older swimmers in there even when there is high tide, a bit hard to swim in that it's very choppy then. Mary hope John is doing well . ~~~~~~~~~~~~ to everyone````````````````` ((((((((( to those not the best((((((((((((( Have a great day what ever you are doing Cheers luv Sandra in the Gong

Good morning...:>)) Forecast is for another warm day in Melb. Hi Sandra. Have a nice day mate. Laurie.Hope your feeling a bit better today. Gwenda. Sorry bout putting you off ya brecky..lol Mary.Hope John is feeling a bit better today, and you are taking care of yourself too. Running backwards and forwards to hospital can tire people out. Lara. Hope Mike is also on the mend, and is stilll in the land of the living....lol Merle. Best wishes to you and himself, and hope you are keeping well also. Britney woke up this morning and gobbled down a stack of pancakes with syrup, and i was surprised that there was no mention of the traumatic night at hospital. The Doc. was impressed with her last night, as she lay on the trolley while he sewed her toes. There was no injection to deaden the toes, and i was amazed at the proceeder thay use these days. He squeezed a tube, of what looked like toothpaste.? in a big blob just above the toes, where they join to the foot area. Then said he would be back in 30 min to stich, as the toothpaste cream was the anasthetic. Sarah kept Britney amused, and Barb and i watched the doc do his craft with precision. She didnt feel a thing...? So i guess there is such a thing as Magic cream. Wonders never cease. Best wishes to all who are not 100% Av a good un. Tony Oz...:>)))
