Mornin' Wattlers......and that includes the long lost Ducky!!!!! I'm sortta baaaack. Feeling a bit yucky but this has been lessened by the warmth of your affections. It's amazing what a boost I get from you wonderful lot. Thanks for the birfdy wishes.....I don't mind celebrating another year.....it's another year that I live!!! Roll on Mudgee for a proper celebration. The Royal Consort presented me with perfume and a lovely beauty/travelling case for my special day.........isn't he thoughtful? The Young Prince and the Handmaiden gave me a sandwhich toaster........a much needed gift after the last one electro-fried the Young Prince :). They also gave me an electric egg poacher/boiler. I love poached eggs but usually end up scorching my fingers when I cook them. This little machine is a doozy:). I've had a shower so now I'm pooped.....time to put my feet up for a while. I'm a happy little Wattler, Postie has just brought me the marriage cert of my grtgrt grandfather Ireland and my hunch paid off - he was married twice - thought after I had ordered that cert I should have ordered one of his later children's birth certs first as well as one from his earlier family to prove what I thought but thankfully I haven't wasted my money. Dancing around the house - only downside - there is no father's name for him but his 2nd wife's father was Richard and he was a watch maker. Back to Super Bowl & ironing Gwenda

'Someone' should so they can be read out at appropriate meets and things :) Sitting at the computer drinking water through a straw - mouth still numb. I think you were bullied into it, but at least it got you back were you belong. I love getting certificates too, but it is not so good when it isn't the one you had hoped. Nice to know that John is getting better, but I am really sorry to hear about the dog. It's a terrible decision to have to make and it seems like we have all been there. But Today!!!!!!On my way to physio on himselfs gopher, ran in to the dr I need to see for my knee. Can't see him because he's off tomorrow for three months but he took me straight in to the receptionist and told her to give me an appt to see the you beaut Dr from Royal Perth Hospital who's come down to relieve him and guess what? 23 Feb!!! The receptionist grinned at me and said' it's not what you know but who, isn't it'? Can't believe my luck. We're having roast pork for dinner tonight.Can you all smell it? Hurray Merle, an earlier appointment :) What a blessing, so pleased for you. Yes the numbness has worn off and my mouth isn't too sore - but hurts to open it too far so dinner was a slow affair :) Bit tired, the heat i guess - must go outside and water - whoops can't, must have taken too long to eat dinner!!!
