Good evening Wattlers . . . a lovely win . . . working up to the big one next week . . !!!!! Great to see Pos has you back online Yvette . . . really miss you !! Butter butter Queenie . . . hope you have managed to get rid of the problem on the puter! I swear by Zone Alarm and AVG (two freebies). . have a few others on here as well . . . but they seem to be always telling me that they have rejected something or other. I have had a wonderful day . . . I am so blessed TLR & I went off to the shops this morning, with a list of things to do! . . . but only got to pick up the new cartridges for the printer! Ended up driving around the city. Sydney harbour was a mass of sails . . . towsands of the little blighters - a mass of colour - a spectacular sight. We had another look at the little house we think the gtgrandparents lived in in Piper Street and then found a lovely little coffee shop among a quaint little street of terrace houses, and sat for a while to watch the world go by. More driving around the southern beaches, around Botany Bay - TLR snuk in a gate at Port Botany and got me up close to the giraffes so I could get a better idea of what was what. Till we saw the Customs man coming around and knew we had better move before we were asked to. Then . . we drove down to a beach around near the airport and the loveliest sight! Two horses were out swimming - when they had had a good frolick in the water, they came onto the beach with their owners and had the best time rolling in the sand. The didn't want to stop - the noises they were making sounded so much like laughter, they would roll around then get up and have a laugh and down they would go again. I was splitting my sides with them as was everyone within cooee. Back to the Balcoonie and the loveliest dinner, BBQ Barra and baby Octopus, with a lovely crisp salad and a bottle of bubbles. All I had to do was assist with the salad and select the wine . . . such hard things to do LOL Feeling very spoilt . . . or is that appreciated . . . teeheee Coffee is brewing . . . so best go pour . . . luv Laurie xo |

Laurie - I have a small credit card size camera - I carry it in my handbag at all times. You just never know. Once it was just to take a pic of my car for which I was booked for parking crookedly - sheesh! I was going to send it into thems that be, but got scared when it came time to pay - they then said, that since the amount had been paid, the matter was closed - the rats!! The cam is not so good inside, but takes quite good pics outside. Jood |

Hi Tony, I think Australia is just to the East of Rottnest and I too have heard a rumour that it is inhabited by friendly, helpful people - so long as you're not a POM. Of course the other great claim to fame of Australia is that it is the home of the Mighty West Coast Eagles! Best wishes to all. Ian |

A very good morning to one and all We had 36 mls of rain overnight - the tank is full again! We are happy little vegemites. Poor duckers has had a very painful knee and has had to take to her bed but she is getting better. She has to be right for Mudgee. She says she will be back on the thread to say hello soon. Have a great day everyone - Poms played a good game of cricket on Friday night so the Ozzie team had best rise to the occasion today. X Anna |

Anna - thats good about the rainfall you had. We have had some showers here in the mountains too. Gwenda - I don't mind Huntsman spiders so long I know where they are. I hate it when they move and I can't find them :(( .. But I would really rather have the place to myself! Yvette your wattler list on its way. Pam - hope your knee gets better soon. Give it some healing thoughts! And tell your knee you are going to Mudgee and it better behave itself! (Whether we behave ourselves in Mudgee is beside the point). Back to the h*******k Jood |

Morning Wattlers, I see we are on the way to winning the big one with all the extra tickets we can get, good effort Leah. We had quite a few heavy showers of rain throughout the night which was lovely but not being used to the noise it kept me awake most of the night....never happy are we??? I've spent the past couple of hours scraping labels off jars for my neices school fete.....wish I wasnt so lazy and did it when the jars were first emptied....it becomes hard work when you've got boxes of them to do.....lol Was going to sit and do FH today but someone's alarm has been going for over an hour and driving me nuts so think I'll go visit my girlfriend for a coffee for some peace and quiet. Have a great day everyone and Ducky look after that knee cause you're coming to MM even if someone has to push you around....sure Lew will have something we could use...she must have a wheelbarrow.............................
