Hello Derek A Wattler meet is similar to what you members have in UK where you all get together at a pub or something for a meet with other GR members, well this is the same except its going all weekend with people travelling from different parts of OZ. But your term a p**s up is not far from the truth hee hee. What part of Scotland are you from? Cheers Sue

Hi Derek I am born and Bred in Australia's lovely island state of Tasmania. Im one of the unlucky ones who are not going to the meet in Mudgee. But with kids at school and OH at work its a bit hard. Cheers Sue

Hi Sue, I hail from Glasgow, but haven't lived there for 26 years.!! Got married in '80 went next day to work in Holland for about 4 years, transferred to Blackpool then started travelling each day to Morley West Yorks. then went to live there, that was 17 years ago. Where are in Ozz? Derek

Sue, Heard alot and seen alot about Tas. looks fantastic!! Never mind about the Wattle, you'd only enjoy yourself, eat some good food, have a few drinks, chat alot and have a good time. eh? My ancesters were born in Paisley, Renfrewshire (ggrandfather and above) but g/father born in Cronberry, Auchinleck - what a miserable cold place. I remember Glasgow well, had to return a hire car there in a hurry before we caught the train - big panic, wasn't sure where it was ! I was born in Perth (no, not Scotland) in West Oz, but came to the Eastern States in 1967 and now live in the Blue Mountains. I'm one of the lucky ones driving to Mudgee tomorrow. Jood
