Shaz, I'm leaving at 9.00am hopefully, and will make Maccas for a free cuppa corfee before 10 at Lithgow (no, not Liverpool) Then I will reach Mudgee around lunchtime and wander round town ringing up Wattlers to see where they are, while Madame Lew is getting pretty at the Hairy Dressers. Hope you get your car fixed - geez !! We planned this nearly a year ago. They can jolly well lend you a car - or at least pay for a hire car. Laurie - I'm lucky - I can put in as much clothing as I wanna, some for hot, some for cold, some for dressy ups, some for h*****k and some coz I like them. 3 hats, coz it jes depends where I wear em - like if I was going to church (?). Got room for me storberry wine and me lite beer. .. Shoes, some for mud, some for respectability, some for casual and a spare tee hee Got me meeting stuff by the garage door to grab as I fly past on Monday morning. .. Gee, just as well I'm young, I'd never be able to handle all this (tongue in cheek) Camera's at the ready, laptops packed, umbrella (well ya never know) - swimmers with lots of cover ups so you'd think I was someone else, me jamas, me black tyre polish, me lie berry book in case I wake early and the others are still asleep. .. Oh, and me map in case I lose me way plus me mobile. Spose I should fly my yellow wattle scarf from the antennae ?? Shades of Priscilla, queen of the desert.! Did you ask if I was excited - who meeeeeeeeee?? Jood

Tassie, isn’t it nice to be able to think again after school goes back lol. It always takes me a couple of days to change routine . Bet Dannielle has had a great day, so exciting at first to go to high school, wish her all the best for a good year. Tony is there room for Barb in that vehicle and is there enough air in the tyres lol? Hope to see you both early tomorrow morning for a coffee stop in Albury. Jood you take care on the road tomorrow too, and get an early night. Merle, Mary, Tas, I’ll be around over the weekend, we’ll have to keep our spirits up somehow but the laughter and chat coming from Mudgee might just be too too much to bear! Later: ……………..pmsl oh you lot take the cake, it’s pre Mudgee jitters that makes cars not start and things to go missing etc – take three deep breaths everyone, it will all work out ( or not lol) Hi Derek what a day to drop in on the Wattlers. I went to Glasgow once when my Aunt was living there, she had a thatched cottage out near Motherwell it was b….y cold as I had flown in February from a pleasant 35 sunny Melbourne degrees to deep snow, I was miserable lol. I live in Albury on the border of Victoria and New South Wales and Tony and Barb have to pass my doorstop tomorrow morning on the way to Mudgee, so I’m hoping they say g’day on the way. Happy traveling everyone and never fear, while you are all away in a communication Black Hole, somehow we will keep the Wattler thread going !!! Catch you all later, Hz

Six n' alf hrs to Mudgee....:>))) We take orf aboot 4:00am so hope to be coming through Albury about 7:00 - 7:30 am Hz....depending on how fast we can both peddle. Might have to stop and change the wind up rubber bands on the tandum bycicle every now and then....:>)) Daisy ..Daisy...give me your answer true. I'm half crazy ...O'h for the Mudgee view.....la la. Footy joke for Tassie and peeps who follow the Footy. Two 90 year old men, Mike and Joe, have been friends all of their lives. When it's clear that Joe is dying, Mike visits him every day. One day Mike says, 'Joe, we both loved football all our lives, and we played football together for so many years. Please do me one favour, when you get to Heaven, somehow you must let me know if there's football there.' Joe looks up at Mike from his death bed,' Mike, you've been my best friend for many years. If it's at all possible, I'll do this favour for you. Shortly after that, Joe passes on. At midnight a couple of nights later, Mike is awakened from a sound sleep by a blinding flash of white light and a voice calling out to him,' Mike--Mike.' 'Who is it?, asks Mike sitting up suddenly. 'Who is it?' 'Mike--it's me, Joe.' 'You're not Joe. Joe just died.' 'I'm telling you, it's me, Joe,' insists the voice.' 'Joe! Where are you?' 'In heaven', replies Joe. 'I have some really good news and a little bad news.' 'Tell me the good news first,' says Mike. 'The good news,' Joe says,' is that there's football in heaven. Better yet, all of our old friends who died before us are here, too. Better than that, we're all young again. Better still, it's always spring time and it never rains or snows. And best of all, we can play football all we want and we never get tired.' 'That's fantastic,' says Mike. 'It's beyond my wildest dreams! So what's the bad news? 'You're playing Tuesday.'....:>))))))) Av a good un. Tony Oz...:>))

Good Evening Everyone, I hope you all have a good time in Mudgee (wherever that is). For the first time in weeks we had some rain here (just a sprinkle really) - over in Scotland it would have been classed as a heavy dew. Don't forget to take some photos so you can make the rest of us jealous. Ian
