Hi Honey's we'se home too - got in about 3 but it's taken me all this time to catch up on emails and thread. We left just after 8.30, with a quick lunch stop in Cowra, oh and 2 laps around Mount Panorama - they weren't quick unfortunately - a rather sedate 60 all the way - doesn't really give you an idea of what the race would be like. Had a few spots of rain on the way home but nothing like Friday's trip to Mudgee when we were down to about 5k with hazard lights, fog lights all blazing - quite an experience I can tell you - but gee it was good to see the rain and amazing how it stayed away on Saturday night. Had a fantastic time - everyone is wonderful but then they are Wattlers so couldn't be anything other than. I'm sure I've gained weight with all the good food I've eaten. JA - we got discount on our accommodation too. Hope you and Rob enjoyed zagzigging on the train. BTW the renovated railway station we were thinking of was Cowra. Don't forget we still want to know about the container depot at Blayney - any info gratefully received. Vonny - thanks for piccles - mine will take a bit longer as I need them burnt to CD and have a few to finish off film. Cat - love the bedroom reno. Dreekie - the name is Welsh but not me - Mother's name is Mavis Gwendoline and I got Gwenda May. Should sleep well tonight although I've nodded off lots on the way home Gwenda |

Hi Gwenda, glad to hear you got home safe. I didn't get a chance to say goodbye yesterday at the restaurant. Very tired tonight, tempted to play with the photos, but ....... - we'll see. Everything is just plonked on the floor willy nilly. Oh, it can wait! Be looking forward to hearing how the others got on, if they've arrived home safely. Jood |

Thanks Fanny - I forgot to say Sandra, glad you got back safe too. I has a problem. We did sort of check the tickets the other night, and as far as we know there was only a 3+1 - could all those with the original tickets just get them swiped, to make sure - and whoever's ticket actually got the 3+1 - let me know (also how much it paid). I could check back through emails to find out who had the ticket, but easier for the winner to let us know. What happened to all the things you were going to do on Saturday night - you 'left behinders' - apart from Tassie off somewhere on a hot date, it was soooooo quite, we Mudgee-ites were very very disappointed ... :( I haint told any porkies - Lew did truly jump in the water, we have the evidence. I know I did get into trouble from Lew for entertaining 4 people at my bedroom door (which led out to the pool) - she said I wasn't to do that .. :((( ........... Awww, I was only showing them my booful room. (and no, they weren't all men) How come some peeps got a pic of the cake ??? (I didnt) - tho I do have some myself, which I will endeavour to get onto emails as soon as I can. Now those with dialups - do you wanted to be included or not? Deekie - Im interested in aromatherapy - will pm you. Jood |

Hi everyone :-) School started again today for Jess so had to be up this morning even though this week is my holiday, Alex goes back tomorrow. Looking forward to more pickles of meet :-) Speaking of pickles, Sandra I didn't send you any, or at least I don't think I did, cos the last time I sent something it came back cos your email box is full. Either I can send them when it isn't if you want or one of the others can. Mary until the other day Jess's bedroom was deep lilac lol. She decided she wanted to go neutral after I did my bedroom in cream but I'd not long since decorated her bedroom so she had to wait a while lol. Yvette I dinny know about bringing my paint brush, I'm the slap it on and get it done as quickly as possible type lolol. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ to all Catxx |

Another one home safely - good on yer mate. Not sure who else was heading straight home - A couple were dawdling along the way, JA, Laurie, Lyn to name a few. Trifley will take 2 days, don't know about Duck & Anna. Jude Flakey would have touched down in Melbourne a good while ago. Meanwhile Lew will be anxiously awaiting Terry's arrival (she's expecting some bling) - no seriously, she missed him. Awwww. Next time I go downstairs, I'll try and remember my camera! My phone is on the blink (as is the lady's next door) - good old Telstra. They've diverted my calls direct to mobile, but who pays mobile rates for outgoing calls??? Me! :(( Jood |

Evening Wattlers Glad to see more arriving home safely. Gwenda gee it would have been hard for me to drive around Bathurst and not get the urge to put the foot down :-) Maybe Im suffering a bit of leadfoot disease after my 'hot date' as Jood calls it with the lovely revhead Adam Brand, Oh did I mention he can sing too :-)) And after all it was my Valentines day present form my darling. Well more routine has fallen into place after the holidays, Dannielle had scouts tonight so I had to do the taxi job, still warm outside, and so much for it starting to cool down, the other day we was looking forward to 24 for tomorrow, now they are sdaying 27, haa haa it was supposed to be 27 today and it got to 30 :-( Hurry up Autumn. Approx 922 kms up, and 922 back.......gotta be a record there somewhere for the longest drive to a meet....:>)) Leyland Bros......eat ya heart out. Firstly........Just want to thank Lew ( and Terry )for having us in their home, and what a beautiful home with a fantastic view, and for a great spread of food that was supplied. Barb and i thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Mike ( Tiger ) and myself would only be happy to design a 18 hole golf course around the property, as we discussed where we would place the first Tee off....:>)))...with the scenic mountains in the background. Nice to see peeps arriving home safely. Thanks everyone for your great company, and the many laughs, and we would have travelled another 900 kms just to be there with you all. ( Well'...... perhaps 899 kms....lol ) We had just arrived at Bathurst, as Barb reached for her mobile Phone, and realised she had left it sitting in the bathroom at the resort....Uuuummm We rang the desk and hopefully the cleaners will hand it in to reception, and they will forward in on.( hopefully ) Shazzles. We came through Wattle flat ( Sofala ) and took a few pickles of the old Gold mining town mate, so will forward them off to you when i get a moment. Also did a bit of Videoing that i will put onto DVD and post off to peeps who are interested ( bout 40 min worth ) of various parts of the saturday night. ps. Will haffta edit some of it though, as its just......well just......well.......Mmmm............just to damn hot........psml bout a 6.4 on the richter scale...:>PPPPP eg: 6.1-6.9 Can be destructive in areas up to about 100 kilometers across where people live. Hope everyones had a great day, and all is well. Have our Grandkids here at the moment, as we bought them a little something from Mudgee....and bought ourselves a little Mudgee Honey Mead that i need to get stuck into......:>))) Av a good un......5:30 am work start tu-morrow.
