Morning all Duck and I arrived back in Toowoomba yesterday afternoon - left Mudgee at 7.45am and arrived home in Toowoomba 4.30pm Qld time. We gained an hour on the way back! Duck then went on to Bribie and I had a message from her around 8 last night that she was home safely also. Absolutely great weekend - so lovely to meet everyone. Thanks so much to everyone for the wonderful company and especially to Lew for her magnificent hospitality. What a perfect spot she has with beautiful hills all around. The Wattlers are going to start the Wattle retirement village in her top paddock! Terry hasn't been told yet! A million things to do today - will pop in later. Good to hear everyone is arriving home safely. BTW - who put all the empties in OUR rubbish bin at the cabin????? Made us look real bad! Morning All JA yes I was able to open the photos, I couldnt on one of the puta but David got home just at the right time and he said that he had a zip program on other puta so he opened them up no trouble, I wouldnt have been able to me being puta illiterate :-( Anna glad you had a good weekend, Im guessing that the Duck also enjoyed herself :-) ~~~~ to Dreekie happy hunting. Might even stop in at the family history centre on my way home from my walk. Hey Jood thats not fair I want unedited copy of weekend too (I is over 18) pouts lips and goes off for a walk sulking. Morning all, This is my second good morning to you! I posted one early this morning but GR must have eaten it!!!! Jude(DIY) and Ken are now on their way home. We have had a lovely time with them but I will let them tell you all about The Zoo. Suffice to say that they still have all their arms and legs intact :) Nice to see everyone reporting in safe home. Hi Wattlers, Yes I'm home too, got in late last night after a couple of plane delays. Busy catching up today and the phone wont stop ringing....had 4 calls from the friendly peeps in India already today...lol Had a fantastic time over the weekend, lovely to finally meet so many. Many many thanks to Lew for her hospitality, what a friendly, generous person she is....but then again its what we expect from a printheth. Well hello Wattlers, I'm finally back on line and back home! What an exhausting couple of weeks. Terry arrived home safely and brought me some lovely bling - pickles to follow. Flakey and I had a reasonable trip down to Sydney, subject to the usual traffic jams, but I managed to get her to the airport one hour before her flight. Sounds like she had a few delays, so I hope she wasn't too lonely. Probably glad to have a bit of peace and quiet after the weekend, lol. And what a weekend it was. Firstly, I'd like to thank Laurie and Ray for the supply of gorgeous fresh prawns, fruit and vegetables straight from the markets. Also the wonderful slices Princess Loz made with her own fair hands. Ray and Rob manned the bbq and did a fantastic job, whilst The Royal Consort excelled himself in the Martoonie department, lol. He and the Queen came suitablly attired, although I'm wondering what our local cabbies are thinking, heeee I'd also like to thank Flakey and Jood for performing their cleaning duties to my satisfaction (pmsl). No, really, thanks you two for all your help. Special mention to Tony for all the BDM disks he produced. It's going to keep me occupied for ages and must have taken him a long time to do. Thanks Mate. Thanks to the Duck for some of her Terry's wonderful shells. I have placed them around the spa bath and they look wonderful DIY once again proved what a clever little vegemite she is with the needle and thread by presenting me with a special dispensing apron (fit for a Royal Doctor!) and I'm sure that there are plenty of pickles floating around. Speaking of floating, yes I did manage to throw myself into the pool, but, hey, what the heck, I didn't care if no one else minded, pmsl. I confess that I didn't arise until after 10am on the Sunday morning, but I felt more than entitled to a little nap, lol And just finally, congratulations to our Princess Loz for winning the Straight Jacket Award. I can think of no one more fitting, PMSL. I see that in my internet absence that we have picked up a few new members. Please make yourselves known to me so that I can decide the appropriate medication to be dispensed!!! Love to you all HRH Dr Ice Princess

Afternoon Wattlers Lew welcome back online we did miss ya :-) the newbies wont know what hit them now hee hee. Sounds like ther are still more piccies to come looking forward to looking at more. Eagerly away Jude diy and kens report on the excursion to the Zoo and their date with the BIG CAT. I ended up only going to the Library today and didnt get to the family history centre, still too hot to walk so I did a bit of bussing, but while in town I had a pancake from one of the Churches next to the Library as its shrove Tuesday. Lew - glad to hear you are safely back home also, and on line to boot. Can visualise you in your frilly red and white apron sitting at your desk - bare footed - and with other suitable attire. Many many many thanks for having Jude & I at your place, as you know we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves - it was good to meet Jack & Moo too. Jude can't believe I got lost in Mudgee - honest Jude, it was real easy :(( .. Anyway I did eventually get going. .. I told you it was the foggy windows and glaring rising sun that made me get lost! .. Hmmm - don't think anyone believes me!!!!! I've had a day out at Balmoral Beach today - beautiful. Sitting under a large tree with gentle breezes blowing. We sort of saw the new HUGE ship in port. They've talked of nothing else on radio all day. I believe there will be fireworks tonight. I found my camera under a mound of stuff - will start downloading them soon. Jood

Just a quickie, not much time left as I have been have a great chat with Lew. JA I didn't get any pickles and I would love some. Any one else and Tony I will send you my address for a movie but please send it in a brown paper package. We have a nosey posty. LOL btw, we don't have a DVD, I know old fashioned, but we just don't watch that much TV. Will we be able to play it on the puta. Arvo Wattlers...:>))) Oooooooh. its sooooooooooooooooooooooo good to be back at work....NOT....:>)) First customer for the morning was such a happy person...........but would have looked much better with a hatchet protruding from his forehead. ( nuff said ) Barb and i watched the Mudgee meet Video this arvo, and you would have thought peeps have known each other for years and years, the atmosphere was so relaxed, and even though the Video was for 30 min only, it had us both laughing at the carrying on and great fun and friendship that was had. If any of the Wattlers ( especially those that couldnt make it ) would like a copy, just email me and let me know where to send it, as it will put a smile on ya dial.....:>)))) and perhaps add a bit of Mudgee atmosphere on the night. Hello at last Wattlers, OOOh lots of mail in my inbox tonight, thank you for sharing everyone, I knew some of the faces but glad to “meet” the others. Sunday lunch looked particularly pleasant al fresco, what nice surroundings. Clearly it wasn’t as hot as it has been here though – I wilted on Sunday, and it hasn’t been any cooler since, I’m so over summer ! Glad you got home safely Tony and Barb, you did a long trip, hope today wasn’t too tiring (and have you tracked down the phone Barb?). Lara you look fantastic in your photo, we must get together soon! Wattie seemed to have fun in Switzerland! Tony ,unadulterated version please. I'm too old and street wise to be shocked by anything any more. Got some great piskles. Loved the cake. Spent most of the weekend on Ancestry finding peeps. Did pretty well too. Just got to get them on the tree in the right places. See the doctor about my knee today at 1.p.m.Yeah!! As you've gathered I'm not sleeping again. How you doing Suz. Morning all, Wakey, wakey, rise'n'shine - it's 8.23 in the ACT - where is ya Jood, Shazz, anyone I've had my early morning walk just as the sun was coming up - beautiful sky this morning. Didn't get any of the rain yesterday although did hear thunder Wardrobes are getting done next Wednesday & Thursday so I am going to be busy, busy getting things out - but honestly where am I sposed to put all this stuff - the house is over-run as it is Just been trying to organise our next holiday - got to fit in Grumpy Old Woman in Melbourne and a trip to Adelaide to see Mum plus Kernewek Lowender at Moonta around the same time -go back to my Cornish roots for the weekend.
