Morning all (well it is qtr to 1 in the morning!!) Went out to a Trivia Night at the Oatley Pub - and yes of course we won!! Shared $200 between 9 mini brain pots!! Have just had time to unpack my case from the 5 night stay at Mudgee and now we are off again (today) down the South Coast until the weekend after this. Thank you to all the gorgeous Wattlers who made the Mudgee Meet such a special weekend. Also of course to Lew for her fabulous organisation and such a wonderful night at her beautiful abode on the hills of Mudgee. Morning all, including Fanny. Been up for 1 and a half hours doing family history! Dreeks - thanks for your offer, I nearly took you up on it, but then Ian from Perth offered. Since he was a full member I sent the info on to him - but be warned, I do have my scottish rellies, and I'll see what queries I can find for you!!! I think it wants to be a sunny day today, no clouds in the sky - but then that could all change. Morning all Have been up for a while but decided to watch a bit of wrestling with OH before he gets up to do some more painting, he has a rdo today, and after the rain last night it is not too hot as yet, hopefully it will stay that way. Ducky nice to see you pop in ,and it worked the bedbugs didnt bite last night :-), maybe because it was also a bit cooler. ~~~ to Dreekie not is not me on the roof its my Oh even though his long hair might confuse you for a moment. Good morning all :) Sunny again today but perhaps not as hot. Well, we are on the countdown - one week till our friends arrive from Canada. Have a request - could you please all take me off your group mailing lists? Thanks so much. Tony - I'll send you an alternative email to let me know when we win Lotto :) just so that mail doesn't pile up while I'm away. I don't think I'll have access to computers very often. Starting a new thread might be a good idea as I usually just go and do something else now while I'm waiting :) Lara can decide. And yes - I like the idea of not deleting - just letting it slide away. However, I don't think the slowness is all the thread's fault - even ordinary threads on GR are relatively slow for me now, but not on the Weekender where there are also pictures and stuff. Morning Wattlers, another stinker in Melb, might have to spend some time in the pool this arvo....this retirement thing is tough.....lol See someone left the cat door open again, I think the cat quite enjoys her little trips onto this thread just to pounce. No luck with the big draw in lotto last night, which is a shame cause my sister and I spent quite a while yesterday planning how we were going to spend 25mil. Hope someone who needs it won. Nice to see we have 2 new male members of the wattlers...Tony will be glad of the support I'm sure. Morning Wattlers and it's another warm day in old Mudgee town. Heading for 32C. We had a little thunderstorm again yesterday afternoon, but only 4mm. Another predicted for this arvo, so keep your fingers crossed that we receive a big dump. You've seen that dam and it needs some filling, lol. Derek and Ian, nice to meet you. Now you two take these little purple pills and you'll be feeling very nice. No, no, don't listen to the Wattlers, they'll only confuse you. You do as I say, because I am a Doctor after all. Merle, here's some pretty yellow and green pills for you. Anyone else need medicating??? Sorry to hear about the bathrooms, Queen. How blasted annoying! How you going little Duck? Jood yes its taken a while but hasnt been up there for over a week with temp around 30 degrees the last place anyone would want to be is on a hot tin roof lol. He is over half way there. On wednesday we might do what you said though, sit up there and take in the view, its Launceston Cup day and on the roof we can see the racetrack which is only in the next block over from our place, have to start checking out the form guide to see who I will but my $2.00 on, the last of the big spenders :-)))) Cheers Sue

Afternoon wattlers, well it's only just. I am also having a lot of trouble loading up the Wattle page, I tried smaller threads to see what happens and they are much quicker so must be because of the larger thread we have, at first I thought it was my pc. Deekie you mention a few posts ago that you have a GR friend in the Gong, perhaps you could invite them to join our lovely Wattle group they would be most welcome, yes the Gong is a lovely place with nice beaches. Well it's time for lunch and then off to the gym, trying to get off some of the weight i put on over the mudgee meet, must have been all that biccies and dip stuff i ate, certainly not the drinkies. ~~~~~~~~~ to all ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ see you later cheers Sandra in the Gong PS great to see you popping in again ducky

G'day to the wonderful Wattlers.....including our newbies....Derek and Ian. Just a quick visit as I'm researching for my bathroom problems. I see everyone (even Ducky) is on the ball and busy. Were you all as tired as I was after the Magnificent Mudgee Meet? I feel sorry for those of you (or your OH's) who had to go back to work. I'd like to add my thanks to the Ith Printheth for all the work she did to insure that the weekend was such a success. Thank you very much for welcoming us into your home.....I loved it!
