Evening Wattlers I've had another lovely day out today. I went with Graeme and Mark to the Westfield shopping centre at Helensvale. One of them walked either side of me to run interference against the hoards. It's amazing how many times you can get bumped into by shoppers. The boys have been wonderful over the past 2 days.....going to the shops to help me get over 'cabin-fever'. Had a couple of good finds too. A pack of 5 DVD's of the George Burns & Gracie Allen show, a real clasic for only $10 and 2 Star Trek movies for only $4:92 each. Also a bargain if you like those things like we do. Shaz...healing hugs. I hope you feel better. SuzyQ...a nice healing pat for your dog. When they are sick it's a worry isn't it? Lara....fingers XXX'd for your Bocci game. Laurie...any news about the new bub? It's gotta be a girl to have Den's spirit. Found a lovely shop today....it's called 'Dusk' and sells candles! Lots of perfumed, pretty candles....you'd love it! Lew...how are the olives going? Will they be big enough to flower this spring. Waves~~~to everyone. I'll check back after Housie. love Trifley X |

Are you still on the Wattle thread mate, as the last few times i sent Lotto...it bounced back. Av a good un. Tony Oz......:>))) * Time for Tea * |

Well the thinking pink didn't have ane effect . . . teehee at 12.34am another little boy was born into the Kelly Gang - Krissy said she had her basketball team, now she has a reserve as well. But seeing as how her boys play footy I guess she has a way to go . . . They are both healthy and all happy - Mums glad that bit is over, and now looking forward to a nice rest in hospital before the fun continues. Krissy also said, 'I have a way to go to catch up to grandma' (my mum had 10 children). I am making an appointment for her with a therapist asap . . . cheers all - luv Laurie |

Shazz, you are a dag. You might have started your message at 5.40 whatever it was, but meantime I had been here, read the messages, and gone elsewhere! .. If I had left a msg, I would have beaten you, and I slept in till 6.30 this morning! You didnt say if it was cold, but I tell you - up here in the mtn I AM COLD!!!! .. It must be going to be a lovely warm day then. Had a lovely dinner last night with daughter and son in law. .. Gotta tell you all this... Daughter was telling me when they went down to Bendigo a few months ago to visit her sister, they were all in the kitchen cooking different dinners (some vegetarian, some not) - and older daughter's two girls were helping (6 & 7) - Neil was cooking up a stir fry, and youngest daughter went up to him and said innocently 'Uncle Neil, can I help you stir the fry' - apparently they all cracked up, as I did, when I heard the story. Such innocence!! Played with Lucas for a little while, he got a bit scratchy as I think his teeth were giving him a hard time. .. Poor little pet, I hate to see babies upset. .. Apparently you can't give babies teething gel till they are 12 months. .. If anyone knows otherwise, please let me know. I do hope 3C is ok, also the other ailing pets. .. Bad enough us grown ups being sick, but I also hate to see the animals suffering. Well I bet Duffy Fluck has lost a lot of weight with all that walking around delivering census papers. .. Speaking of which, I havent received mine yet. .. Think I'll be doing mine on the computer - much easier. Time for shower Jood |
