We will have had 2 whole hours on the train to firstly and most importantly *locate correct person, and then * engage in pleasant converstation. Hi all back yet again after more puter problems we have a brand new puter & have had nothing but trouble with it works fine for a few days then bingo no keyboard or internet or some other stupid problem not happy if it happens again we are going to get our money back,I haven't even been able to find out what all you lot have been up to very frustrating. I will have to go back through all the pages which is going to take me hours. I hope all of you that live in Sydney are ok after the storm. Mackay is a bit windy today but still beautiful we have only had the heater on twice this winter & that was only for about half an hour & only because Jim was a bit chilly through the day we are still in shorts & t-shirts. Who would like to migrate LOL Will catch up with you all as soon as I have caught up with some e-mails & read what you have all been up to. See Ya Love Cilla

Sorry to hear you have had computer problems, nothing worse, is there? I didn't know Sydney had a storm till someone mentioned over near where Laurie lives. .. We in the blue mountains just had a miserable wet winter's day. .. The sun is making a pathetic attempt to shine this morning, tho it's still pretty cold. Good Morning, Jood, Julie, Yvette, RB & Gwenda (although you have probably headed off to work by now) very foggy, 4 deg day in Melbourne - brrr - bit nippy! Ooooo this time next week we will have landed in Sydney -yeah and we get to meet lotsa wattlers. I might be awake by the time we land after being up 4 hours previous - Ken reckons it takes me 3 hours normally to wake up cheeky beggar! Just 'cause I'm not into conversation first thing of the a.m. hours. What were you lot on last night? pmsl this morning reading all your messages. Poor Mary she will be suffering withdrawal symptoms by next Saturday. Ah she will have a good dose of wattlers to keep her going til she is reconnected. Well better do some work jude 3

Morning all, Brilliant sunny morning after yesterday, when our rainwater tank could have been filled 10 times over and that amazing storm down on the coast at La Perouse. I didn't know a thing about it until I saw it on the news last night. I was sat at work with rain dripping through the office ceiling, we laugh about it as after 7 yrs Centre Management still don't know how to get anyone to fix the leak properly so that rain doesn't come through the flat roof! Let's hope weather remains nice for next Saturday as Sydney can be evil on a wet windy day (no flowing skirts now girls if it does turn out windy, otherwise we'll have to anchor you all down!) Shazz - hope you are up to scratch next week, but remember I have offered to push your wheelchair if need be, Mick, Rob and I can take turns at terrorising you. Trifley - hope you are going along okay. Have been thinking about you. Mary - Trust you are disposing of lots of things you don't really need ready for the move. I have boxes of goodies that I haven't even looked at in the 2 yrs since we downsized. Which quite obviously proves OH's point that I never needed them in the first place. Hi to all the other Wattlers and did I see FNQ coming on the boards? Bet your weather is a lot warmer than down here, roll on summer I say. Have a good weekend everyone. Lyn

Hi Princess DIY and Yvette. I'm not a morning person either Princess. I'll be thinking of you lot next Saturday while I'm down in the freezing cold of Bright. We're completing the census on Tuesday night, then heading to Bright on Wednesday morning. It's only a 10 hour drive, so we should be there in time for dinner. We'll have the laptop with us, so I'll be able to keep checking in on your all. Lew Lew xxx

Lew pack lots of winter woollies you are gunna need em. Jood - Laurie has kindly offered to pick us up at the airport with Sue (she gets in an hour after us) so we are putting ourselves in her and Rays hands - they will lead and we will follow -lol hopefully to the right place.

grumble, mutter, yawn, stretch aggggg Finally got to bed 2 ish and the next thing I know, all this thumping and banging outside with engines running. Hubby leaps out of bed, rushes to the window and it's only the FIRE brigade, police etc as the Community hall just up the road was well alight. - gutted actually but no-one inside. Morning all :) Going to have brekky and then onwards to the boat. I guess Mary will have to come to the casino now..... Hi - again! Princes DI(y) - I knew Laurie was picking you up (it was Laurie who showed us how to get to the Casino last time, I think! - can't remember, we just sort of got there. .. I guess there will be signs when we get out of the light tram, and we can always ask. .. I believe we are meeting you at the Casino - somewhere. Mary is definitely coming - I doubt she would miss it - she really does want to see us all again. Jood
