One after my own heart !!!!!! Lipstick in School -- Priceless!! You've got to love this School Principal. According to a news report, a certain private school in Washington was recently faced with a unique problem. A number of 12-year-old girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints. Every night the maintenance man would remove them and the next day the girls would put them back. Finally the principal decided that something had to be done. She called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the custodian who had to clean the mirrors every night. To demonstrate how difficult it had been to clean the mirrors, she asked the maintenance man to show the girls how much effort was required. He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it. Priceless! Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror. There are teachers....and then there are educators! |

Hi Wattlers, Just a quick rush in and out for me also. We must all be busy today. Hope you have a happy birthday Rebs. Are you really still 44, You will be going backwards soon. Nice day in sunny queensland today blue skies with fluffy white clouds. Sophie is much better today. She has been eating in the night and again this morning. It brought back memories when you were talking about cats traveling in cars. We had a cat called Timmy, and we always took him on holiday with us in the caravan. In the car, he always sat around my neck. He loved it. It's amazing how different they all are. Hope the arm feels better soon Trifley. Jodd, get rid of that cold quick, you have a big event on Saturday. Gotta go, Hope everyone has a great day Love SuzyQ |

lol Suzy, 44, 10 hours, and 10 minutes. Age doesn't bother me much. l'm only as old as l act. lol!!! LewLew, that card cracked me up. Payback eh? pmsl !!! Actually, l remember when we still lived in Drummond Street, we had one of those old wringer washers in the back yard (if you could call it that). Anyway, my brother, who around 18 months old washed the cat, and tried to put it through the wringer to dry it. lolol !!! Thanks for the lovely thoughts guys. Much appreciated. About this email addy. Someone whose email address l don't recognise sent me an e-card. They addressed it to Rebcat, which is an old board name of mine, but only signed it with a K. l know a number of people whose names begin with K from this site, but as yet, none of them have been given my new email addy, which is where the card was sent to. I'm unsure as to who sent the card, and how they got my email addy. And, when queried them, they still didn't tell me who they were. Only said they thought they knew but they they must be mistaken. Still called me Rebs though, and wished me happy birthday anyway. I'm beginnng to think someone has hacked in to my email account. |

Arvo Wattlers...:>)))) Happy birthday Rebs x Trifley. Hope you are well. x Been very busy, doing what i do best at the moment, and i have had a desperate 'PLEASE HELP ME' Email from a 75 year old chap who was born, then adopted out in 1931 in Melbourne. His only lead is that his unwed mothers name was May SCHOLZ....born somewhere in S.A c.1907-8 or so it states on his adoption records. He is a freind of Barbs sister, who cleans his home, and is desperate to find out what became of his maternal mother before he dies. ( very sad ) So i am trying to help him, and working long hrs into the night on his request. Hope everyone is well, and all who are not the best, take care. Tony Oz.....:>))) ps. 10 sleeps till He'y man Island...lol |

I'm back ~~~~~~~~~~~ Serious question, What system do you all use for keeping track of your research (hard copy) for each branch of the tree? Sooooooon, I will have a room all to myself which I plan to set up as my work room, so I'd be very interested in what you all do. At the moment it is hopeless as I am just in the family room so hardly doing any research at the moment BUT, I have great plans!!! LOL off to play games :) Vonny |
