Anna, wish I could 'not have to talk to strange men'. Had a strange experience delivering forms. This one particular fella was in a retirement place and I think I will get the manager to accompany me tomorra. Bit scary. But it takes all kinds Ducky

Just got home. Hubby finished the Tax and I did the census. LOL (((((HUGS))))) Trifley. Be thinking of and praying for you. Rebs - very strange. Going to check the boards. ~~~~~~~~~~ Vonny Yvette, didn't you get your census?? Does that mean you have no cense??

Yvette, did you ring 1300 362 883, because they should have got onto the local census collector straight away to have your forms delivered. Pam

I rang that number, it was still light. They asked whether my neighbours had them. Next door is a church and a restaurant (either side) but there other houses in my street. My house is noticeable as a house, plus there some units across the street. I had rang previous to today to ask and they said the forms would be delivered up to today. I spoke to the lady in the street behind and she said she got hers last week. she's also got a little shop down the street and she said they came in there the other day too. Well the lady on the census line said that maybe they were running a little late with deliveries and I would eventually get one. I told her it wasn't right as today was census day not next week sometime.This was before I realised that I had just been 'neglected' If this has happened to me in a town, how many others miss out I wonder. I'm not impressed. Even less impressed because oh and the kids seem to think its funny, and they miss out on filling out the form. I also left my phone number, but no reply as yet. - and no cense Love Yvette x

yvette, that's really non-cense isn't it? (ok I'll stop :) I think you'll find that in the 'bush' the census peeps are very dedicated. I know when we lived off the beaten track next to a state forest, the census lady came to our house to ask the way into the forest cause lots of 'hippys' lived in little communities and she wanted to be sure she found them!! I think it was very brave of her as they weren't exactly friendly to strangers. Vonny

Yvette whether you have cense or not, this is not on. From what we were told in training, the local collector should have been advised after the first time you rang. I had a lady last Sat week who rang up and said she wanted an envelope. I delivered it the next day which is what we are supposed to do. Bad communications obviously !!! My son would have been happy to be in your shoes. No way in the world was he going to fill in a form. Just as well I was around. Let me know what happens Ducky

Not quite sure what you meant Vonny - about filing system - I have A4 books with sleeves, and I put photo copies of census, notes, pics, data in them, but its nowhere near up to date. Morning Jood or I could just look at the email you sent with the stick men. I would be in trouble if i went out to the airport in 4 days to catch the plane to Sydney I think???? I count only 3 days :-))))) Vonny sounds like I have a system a bit like Jood, I have my info tryed out in word and put in an A4 folder that has plastic sleeves and I can add to without too much hassles. It may be very not the best way but it is something I can work out and I have a book of each of my 4 main branches. but I do have an expandable case to keep other ino or ofshoots of the branches in. Now you are probably totally confused with my system soI will leave it at that lol. Cheers Sue

Good Morning Wattlers, Happy Birthday Gwenda Happy Birthday To You Happy Birthday dear Gwenda Happy Birthday to You Hope you have a nice day. Looks like rain in the Gong today. Triffley hope all goes well today for you. Yesterday was my D-I-L birthday and tomorrow is my son's so tonight I am doing a birthday dinner for them (to fit in with their shift work). Cooking a roast pork with all the trimmings and have made a triffle, just have to put topping on, I have done that instead of a cake as my triffle is a specialalty in the family, is only made on certain occasions.
