I got tired of cowboys and indians and had a few too many wines and flaked on the bed from sadness that I wasn't at meet,and was so despondant when Tiger came home from golf he cooked tea and tried to console me with well you'll see the pickles. She is almost back to normal but still has difficulty chasing the dog, much to her disgust. Your sounding better today Trifley, just let the healing take its course, laugh on the good days and have a martoonie on the bad. You will get there eventually. Good afternoon Wafflers, I have had a lovely weekend - thank you !!!! We had a slow start to our day, I cooked up some bacon & eggs around 8ish, and by the time we got ourselves organised it was nearly 10. Jude & Ken were having a loate start too - still had to eat, and book out, so we didn't meet up with them, we droped Joodles at Central railway station, and went straight up to the Sydney Tower . . . Sue & I went up, and it was good that she was able to see the city on a clear bright, sunny day. Yes, Joodles said she had to go home, wouldn't stay any longer and let me spoil her - but she was sounding heaps better. Then it was time to take Sue to the airport, and say goodbye to a very lovely lady. I hope she enjoyed herself - it was a joy to have her here. Ray and I headed back into the city to meet up with Ken & Jude, but they had discovered the Maritime museum, so we left them to have a wander thru there and the Endeavour. They dont leave Syndey till later tonight, but are going to have a wander around on their own. Ray has now gone off to the office - brat didn't tell me till this afternoon that he had some preparation to do for a presentation. Vonny, so glad your little cat came home - Tony, I am worried about Wattley . . . hes gone to Bright with Lew & Terry !!! Lew has taken him to give him a taste of the cold weather in preparation for his trip with her in January. Lucky you and Barb, only 5 sleeps to Hey - Man . . . Hi Trifley. Yes, Barb has started packing. Looking forward to Hayman Island. We have holidayed on a few of the other Islands, Daydream, Hamilton, South molle, Lindeman and Fraser Island, but this will be our first visit to Hayman. Mudgee meet.Mmmm... perhaps i should put our name down for that meet. Haven't been up that neck of the woods for donkeys years. Last time i was up that way was Dubbo in the 80s Dont know if Il'e get this right but, going by th Pickles Laurie sent.Just a wild guess mind you, as only met a few at the Yarrawonga meet. Hello all, I have been home from about 2pm, reading up on all your doings - good god - Suzy q and Tony and Lara playing cowboys and indians and running bare around the vacuumed carpets!!!! .. Can't trust them when we are away!. Not even WE Wattlers were that noisy. Laurie, Im worried about Wattie too - the poor lil mite is a bit taken with those martoonies. .. Last time I saw him, he was down Lew's cleavage - what next!!! You guys best try your hardest to get to the Mudgee Meet - its gonna be a riot!!!! .. Can just see us Wattlers arms length away from each other around lap-pool with our drinkies (who wants to swim?) Well Tony, you couldnt have been turning your mouth the right way when those little balls popped out on Saturday night :( .. Never mind - maybe we should ask Barb for some lucky numbers next time eh? I'm pleased to say I'm heaps better than I was up till the Friday morning - energy back, just slight cough and cold now. . Can cope with that (if I have to) I'm beginning to think Lara must hand pick each one of us Wattlers, coz we are all sooo nice! Yvette, I hope you weren't toooo shy to join in, I should have spent more time with you - but was listening to Princess DI(y)'s antics! .. Lyn & Mick - you disappeared off home without saying goodbye :(, and then when I nicked off to win some more money (and did) - Lew & Terry, Jude & Ken nicked off and I never said goodbye to them either :( .. Good afternoon have to take of and get ready for happy hour before we go to birthday dinner for friend at the lovely Castaways resort about 15 going but won't be like a meet at Casino with you lot not half as much fun so just a quick one ok. Tony did you see the show the other night I think it ACA saying what a disgrace Sth Molle is we went there about 6yrs ago and was dirty worn out and grotty there then apparently its hundred times worse now . Tassie looks as though you had a goodtime girl course it couldnt not be with my handpicked Wattlers eh Joodles so glad went well and you all arrived home ok I guess by road Vonny and Gwenda had the longest trip home and then by train Sandra and Yvette quite a away too . Then Tassie when do you go was it tonight ? Jude and Ken too isn't it? Vonny and Gwenda Floriade would be good but pleeeeeease make it at the end of it whatever that date will be as then I can make it too. Laurie put it to Tiger but he says we will be leaving here about middle Sept and spending few days in Townsville and Mackay too on the way down couple nights in Hervey Bay too then Cassies aboutend of week three of Sept week . so we will see ok. Daydream was our favourite in the 90s...but then they tried to upmarket ( like Hayman ) but it didnt put bums on seats,( so ta speak ).. and they lost heaps of tourist's by closing down the far end of the Island......and trying to make it a Honeymoon Island. ( for young couples )..but it didnt pay the bill's......Then last we heard that they had reverted it back to a Family enviroment. Tony Oz...:>)))

Hi all, It has just taken me ages to read several pages, i think i give up. Sounds like you all had a great time at the meet. I have missed catching up with all the wattle news, but it was too hard trying to find a computer while we were away. Found a place in Kalgoolie that had internet, $2 15minutes, didn't even have time to keep up with emails. still have heaps to read. We fly to Perth hired a campervan, drove to Bridgetown to see some friends, spent a couple of days there. Then set off for Kalgoolie and caught up with more friends who are traveling around the country, did a lot of catching up and going to old haunts there, as we use to live there many years ago. Then went to Geralton via Sandstone, Mt Magnet .....more friends, back to Perth, called in to see the Pinnicles on the way, so all in all, we had a busy time. Later this week i am off to Makay, so see my sister and mother. OH is staying home this time, he says someone has to earn some money he he. I took my long service at half pay, seemed a good idea at the time, but my purse is suffering lol. I have to go tummy is calling Take Care Wilson

Tia refuses to talk!! but she hasn't stirred much from in front of the fire today :) And she is eating everything in sight. Thanks for your support. :) 11th plank is finished. I only had to do one third as son and dil came over this arvo and son had a nice father / son bonding moment doing the plank while his wife and I caught up :) They start their new jobs tomorrow.
