Joodle..Sell up...lol Jus jokin mate. O'k.....if you have the front door open, then keep the back door closed...re-direct. If you need an open window, then use a bedroom window. If chi moves to fast through your home you lose its benefits. eg: Straight in the front door and straight out the back door...at a 100 miles an hour......no good mate. Tony Oz..:>))

Awww ya all larfin at me poor Jade - it's not dyin - its bin eaten alive by summat. .. I jest asked wot to put on it - I'm sure VB wouldnt help :( Trifley - Bowen Therapy is very strange, but apparently very effective. I'm off to bed too. Tony - my dining room table is sort of Japanese, and I have that sort of theme. .. I have often thought of putting up one of those silk or bamboo screens in front of it - that would help wouldnt it? They will survive in low light....but they lose there leaves if not put in direct sunlight on the odd occasion, so wack e'm in full sunlight ( inya hoose ) every now and then mate. Tony Oz..:>))

Good evening Wafflers . . . notice the cats apprentice just snuk in to get the number . . . HI Lew , how is Bright (teeeeeheeee) Jood - with Jade at your door you will never be poor - but remember wealth is not always calculated in the almighty dollar. I have heaps of Feng Shui books if you ever want to borrow them. You may not have noticed my little bits and pieces around to keep the good vibes in the apartment - but they are there. If you have the toad with the coin in his mouth, make sure he is facing inside the house, not towards the door. It is amazing when you start to read about Feng Shui just how many things in life are related, and in history too. I will have to try the bottle in the corner trick Tony, wonder if it works the same way with a red wine bottle!! Bowen is lovely isn't it Oh Great Trifely one . . . I am off tomorrow to be pricked too . . . thought I would go out in sympathy with you. Nothing major - been in pain for the past week across my back and neck from the bleedin shingles (had then in 1971 when Ray was in Vietnam, and the pain tends to come back every now and then). Not much else on offer for it except painkillers and I dont want to take anything I dont have to. I have a fairly high pain threshold but when I cant get the brain to function properly its time to do something. So about 10am I will be the Echinda of the day. I'm pooped too - so will call it quits and catch up tomorrow cheers luv Laurie

Laurie. If red wine works for you, then so be it. At the very least it will keep the blood thin mate....lol Joodle. If there is light in the soul, there will be beauty in the person. If there is beauty in the person, there will be harmony in the house. Night all. Tony Oz..:>))

Evening Wattlers first chance I've had to return to fread since Saturday, well what a wonderous waffling wondiferous meet we had. where did the hours go - perhaps a conference room next time - with unlimited time, food, drinks, talking, a wattlelotto win to pay for it all -pmsl. (are you listening whoever purchases the next lotto ticket) Thank you to Laurie and Ray for the very generous offer of collecting the taswegian and victorian contingent from the perils of a very busy Sydney airport - lol. (we found each other in the end!) Laurie, Ray, Tassie Sue, Ken and I had a wonderful breakfast on the shores of a beautiful spot in Sydney, were privy to the spectacular sight of the giraffes (only a couple) perusing the skyline and trying to pinch ourselves that we were in Sydney and going to meet the most loveliest group of wattlers that we are blessed to be a part of. Laurie with her inimitable style directed the lovely Ray (who must be one of the most patient men on earth!- (come on! he had 3 giggling females in the back seat!- in Ken's words - 'all flapping their gums in unison' - cheek!- lol) with his unflapable driving got us to the casino. No mean feat in Sydney traffic - believe me. After we had been refused entry to the casino because of a beautiful bunch of yellow and green balloons (of couse they were filled with liquid gas (get it - waffling gas) lol - we ran into Lew and Terry - believe me I'm not often lost for words -but Ken was stunned , I didn't speak for uummm 30 secs, I couldn't believe my eyes ( of course - I made a miraculous recovery!) We had a marvellous lunch - wasn't nearly long enough- really how could any establishment think that 4 hours was nearly adequate for the wattlers to communicate! I didn't even get to change tables and talk with vonny, Lyn - (who I still haven't been 'properly introduced to' lol.) Shazz, the delightful Rob ( now don't get jealous Shazz ) who gave me a loverley cuddle!- I do know him from Yarrawonga you know! and everyone else on the other table- you know who you were. You are the most delightful peeps, I'm so pleased the 'lovely Lara' introduced us all. We are just so lucky to have found each other. Thank you all for making us feel so welcome. Ken still keeps saying 'I can't believe you don't know half these people and yet you get on so well' (to borrow from Lew - heheheheh!-he knows nusthing!) You have to be a wattler to understand. We unfortunately didn't catch up with sue before she left, but very footsore and tired made our way to the airport at 8.00pm for a 9.15 flight. (we were kna*****d). Got up this morning 8.00 am to move eldest son back home (middle name boomerang) - finished at 5.30 pm - why do our offspring develop into magpies? now I'm b*****ed.off to the land of nod. If anyone would like a memento of the Sydney meet,(even though you weren't there) I have made extra key rings so if you pm me will post to you - this is an exclusive offer - lol - original wattle material (very hard to find) made by a mad victorian patchwork woman - this is an offer hard to resist - pmsl - sorry no free steak knives come with this offer! (have made enough for every wattler - I was on a roll!) Got to go - v.tired and delerious now luv jude 3

Morning all, I gotta tell you wattlers, that this ere girl Princess DI(y) is nothing short of amazing! .. Not only is she a mum with a full time job, and a Wattler too (you know how much time that takes up) - and does family history - but she does the most exquisite patchwork quilting. .. We were lucky to see some photos of her work - and the detail that went into making those quilts is unbelievable! .. So one very very clever talented Wattler, we have. Tony I've been listening and soaking up all the information you've given me. .. That little verse you wrote is soooo true. Laurie - I didnt know you were into Feng Shui - and Im about to go and look at my toad - I bet he's sitting the wrong way! .. It was your darling sister who gave me my jade. ..I didn''t know they lost their leaves if not in the sun, and I'm afraid my Jade only get afternoon sun in summer, probably none in winter. .. I really thought some little insect had come along and had a feed. ... Think I'll have to put it back in a pot and move it around. I was going to go back to bed, but I am more awake now, so am up for the day. Love all Jood

Good Morning Wattlers, Wow, I've had a great time reading up about the weekend meet, I'm green with envy. So pleased it went so well and everyone's back home safely. My weekend (feels like ancient history already!) wasn't quite as exciting, but good fun. DD15 had her belated birthday bash at last, a dozen kids walked home from school with her on Friday for icecream cake and other snacks (chicken wings, sausage rolls) then they walked downtown to a 7pm movie, and those that didn't get picked up from the theatre walked home again. All the lads had gone by 11 pm. leaving four girls sleeping over. They played darts and DD15 had a bucket and detergent and a few of those huge bubble wands out on the driveway. They were a lovely lot (most I know quite well by now) and they can come again any time - AND I didn't clean up a thing (they did) !! On Sunday OH and I drove to Melbourne and back to attend a trade show, left DD15 alone for first time all day, she was happy as, did her English assignment on Romeo and Juliet and walked to the IGA for food when my cupboards were bare ! Thank heavens for SMS - so reassuring. Should be quite week this week, I had an FH muddle to sort over the weekend when I discovered two sisters married the same bloke, I think I've sorted out the kids, looks like younger sister raised the big sisters little ones. Vonny I think you asked about how to sort your paperwork, well I started eight big binders one for each great-grandparent's family. I've added more binders where I've needed to when they got overloaded. Once a girl marries I stop recording her info as an offspring of her parents and put her life after marriage in with her husband. If she never marries she stays with her parents. I've also got a fan chart in front of every binder, highlighting the family referenced, to keep the direct lineages. But it's hard not to stray sideways lol. Lew take care at Brown Bros !! You've got a beaut day for it, watch Wattie doesn't go over his limit. DIY Judy I have a secret mental plan to come down your way and meet for lunch or similar, perhaps in Oct when DD15 is in Japan for 3 weeks. So save me an honourable Wattle keyring pretty please, we could meet up with Wilson and Jude 2 perhaps..... DD15 and I are going to Wangaratta next Friday night to see Importance of Being Earnest by the Wang Players. Should be fun. Gosh, have to go now and do a bit of paperwork, catch you later ~~ Hz PS Shazz you're such a whizz with all the names, I dips me lid lol I'll get smart one day and learn to cut and paste and greet everyone by name - but not today ~~ oo rooo ~~
