Hello to my favourite wafflers I've had a lovely but exhausting day today. As Graeme had today off we decided to go out to lunch. It was an ab-so-loot-lee bewdiful day here on the GC. The sun was shining in a bright, blue sky and there was a gentle, cool breeze. The only thing to marr the day was the hoardes of uncontrolled kids roaming around Robina. Today was Ekka Day for school kids sooo...why weren't they there instead of racing through the shops? Anyway....we had a nice day inspite of the little darlings. Healing hugs to Gwenda, Mary, Cat person, Crew and Joodles. I hope you all feel better soon. Crew...why is Terry skiing nude? He'll need a merkin...pmsl. Yaaayyy Vonny...going to Mudgee!!!! Tell John I'll bring grandma's family artifact so he can get a closer look. Are you going to stay at a motel? Hi SuzyQ...how are ya? Devily....sons and driving lessons....been there, done that, had the nervous breakdown...lol Jude3...isn't it wonderful when the offspring want to move? Mark ALWAYS seemed to pick places where we had to lug stuff up flights of stairs. Tony...we went to a play which was called 'Hotel Sorento'. It was set in Sorento, Victoria. I believe it was based on a hotel in that area. I like the Mudgee song...you are a clever little bloke aren't you? It's dinner time so I'll be off.....crumbed lamb cutlets...yuuummm Toodle Love Trifley X

Morning everyone :-) Jude3 and Tony hope you enjoy your holidays. Hope all sickies get better :-) (((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))) SuzyQ if your thinking of spring cleaning pls be careful. I did Alex's bedroom on Sunday, Jess's bedroom on Monday and spent 11 hours and 15 mins (yes I was clock watching pmsl) in hospital yesterday until they finally let me out lolol. Those nebulisers are a wonderful thing, all that fresh air and I dinny have to leave my bed hehe. Went to the doctors fully expecting an 'you've got a chest infection' and to be sent home with anti-biotics only to be told 'shall I phone for an ambulance or can you make your own way there' 'eh, what???' :-s. Had to make a quick couple of phone calls to make sure the kids had someone to look after them. So I got a ride in an ambulance to but no new naws. Got to hospital was booked in sent to GPassessment unit and was in bed with obs done, blood taken and oxygen mask on by 9:45. Saw doctor a couple of hours later, had ecg thingy. By now it was dinnertime, I had a sandwich, was funny lift mask up take bite put mask down while chewing and swallowing lolol. Had x-ray at 4:25 (told you I was clock watching lol) Then when I came back I dinny bother with the mask as my breathing was a lot better and it's kind of addictive lol. Had to was to see registrar then which I finally did at 8:30 then left unit at 8:45. The diagnosis was a wait for it................................ chest infection lol Have to go back today for antibiotics and inhaler as the pharmacy was closed by then. Not much more news except I can still go to Scotland yipppppeeeeeeeee :-)))))))))))))))))) ~~~~~~~~~to all~~~~~~~~~ Catxxx

Evening Wattlers What a sorry little bunch of Wattlers you all are. You all need a hip flask of Southern Comfort. A good swig on the hour every hour and you'll kill any bug around. I have had to take over the Wattlers Medical Advisory Service from Dr. Lewella as she is indisposed herself. You know the old saying 'Physician, heal thyself.' I am off to Brisbane tomorrow with OH - Katherine is away on a school biology camp (gone to Coolum looking at mangroves - you have no idea how unimpressed she is!) So, while the cat's away the mice will play. I'm actually taking Chris to see Menopause - I know he will just love it! Staying overnight and will be back on Friday pm. I'm also taking him to the casino for lunch so he can see what he missed out on when the Wattlers hit Brisvegas! Tony - won't be speaking to you again before you leave for Hayman. Have a great time - the weather is just fantastic at the moment. By the way - did you hear they've lost 10,000 pieces of luggage in London since the airport security clamp down! Oh boy - aren't you glad you're only flying domestic! Thanks Jude - will be watching the mail. Much appreciated. I am asolutely in awe of anyone who can hold a needle! Will catch up with everyone on Friday evening. Love Anna

Good Evening fellow Wattlers, Had a quick read back through the pages and yes Jood, OH and I will definitely be going to Mudgee. Haven't been there for a few years (last century I do believe!!) but absolutely loved it last time we were there. Trifley - Remember ages ago I asked about joining the Lotto club and you guys said I had to have 10 pieces of ID, security check and so forth. Then I didn't hear any more and presume I may have failed the security citizen test as I am not yet a fully fledged aussie wattler (after 36 yrs here) - um ah. Perhaps I should slip in that I do possess a lucky streak and have won several things over the years including a holiday, vouchers, clothes, movie tickets, kitchen items and so on - although my largest Lotto win at this stage has only been $550. Anyway please let me know what other docos I need to present to be considered!! Thanks ladies for the photos of Saturday's meet. What happened to the photos of Shazz? - as she was very busy using everyone elses camera to take photos of - herself - I might add!! It was so nice to meet up with everyone, just a shame that they wouldn't allow us to push ALL the tables together - never mind I think just switching tables as we did sent the wait staff into a mini frenzy. Mary - have you managed to get your phone fixed yet? How can you use the internet, yet not have a phone line, when Telstra cut me off (accidentally, whilst in the pit out the front) we lost every connection!! Hope you are feeling better - seems a few people have come down with the lurgy over this past week. That would be great if your OH can come to Mudgee too. Hi to Vonnie, Tassie, Laurie, Yvette, Sandra, Shazz and anyone else I have forgotten. Anna - have just read your piece about the lost luggage in Heathrow, very encouraging as OH leaves here on Sunday for 2 mths in UK....... Lyn

Good evening Wafflers, Thought I had better get online and let you know I am still in the land of the living - (~~~~~~~ Joodles~~~~ Everyone else ~~~~~) I got pricked the other day, but reserve judgement as to results - massage doesn't help as it isn't muscular pain. Dinner went well - nice to catch up with eldest son and dil. They have started as registered nurses this week at a private hospital here in Canberra. Today was their first day on the wards. Hi Wattlelottos...:>)) Vonny bought the Lotto ticket for this week, but the chap gave her a super 7s Oz lotto ( which she paid a fortune for )...ouch The Super 7s gives us 7 numbers across the line instead of our usual 6....... Its still 36 lines downwards, but we have one extra number across the ticket, which gives us a better chance ( hopefully )....lol The super7s is a Tuesday night draw. So will be drawn on Tuesday 22nd of August. I was going to buy an extra ticket tomorrow for this Saturday night, but just realised i may not get on line tomorrow so decided to leave as is.
