Evening, Just watched a video 'Failure to Launch' good Friday night movie :) With my voluntary teaching, once the staff have done their English lessons I can go home cause my 'boss' is overseas at the moment :) Yvette, your energy is amazing. maybe we should all go back to aqua arobics? Hi Wattlers - forgot to tell you all that my cousin in UK who is a website designer has created a website for people to list their unwanted certificates that they may have requested/purchased in error. Hopefully through this site some unwanted/unloved certs can find a home with the correct rellie. Site is free to use. She has just set up the site and asked me to give it a trial run and all appears okay. However if anyone finds any probs then they can email her on the site to report the problems. I did find that a reply email from the site after I had registered went into my junk mail box, but I tend to have an overenthusiastic junk mail identifier! The website is www*certificate-exchange*co*uk - usual thing remove asterick and replace with dot. Hope some of you can get some use out of it. She will be getting sponsors and then she can promote it via other genealogical sites. Lyn

Had a look at the site Lyn. worked ok. I've saved the addy and will try and remember to put it on my mail to cousins etc. I'm going to try and save wattlers for a special treat over the weekend as really have to do an essay. physically slap myself on the wrist for looking at the thread again. do you reckon terry could/would do the whistling? terry the pool boy! i can only whistle the dog. it would make for interesting piccies. talking about pool boys, throughout the years that i've been doing this, we've encountered some very nice pool boys. there used to be this young man who had a fit looking bod. the pool deck was narrow and after he had finished work he would walk past us to get his bike to ride home. The whole class would stop twice. once on the way up, next on the way back. Had to tell him to get his bike before the class started as it was distracting the ladies (and myself)for the rest of the class y x

Evening, Lyn, Yvette, Trifley, Jood and anyone else about. We are just having a quiet night here tonight, David is in the shower and I am having a quick coffee before he gets out as he has to have blood test tomorrow morning, he has to fast for 12 hours. No much else happened today, landlord informed me that he is still looking for a house that is closer to Davids work so we are still up in the air a bit. Only thing that is definate is we will be moving its just a matter of where. Cheers Sue

Oh my god shaz, contacted a lady named Joy as you know and she rand me about an hour ago. Her sister Fay is my auntie YYAAAHHHooooo!!!! Fay married my dads brother Teddy. Apparently Fay wants to meet me but she wanted a bit of info so she knew I was genuine (understandable). I have heep of cousins all over Australia so Joy is going to forward photos and an e-mail from me to them. It would be lovely if they want to get to know me. Most of dads siblings and both parents have passed away unfortunately, but from our (very long) conversation she talk me heaps about them and I am just over the moon. I also have a brother Shaun who is a bit older then me, they don't know where he lives but are going to start a search for me. Oh and my nans maiden name is McBride not Jones. I'm a McBrides grand daughter lol Oh, Jood, i found out I am a Davies not a Davis, just as exciting though lol Louisa x

I hope you are cosy Jood, it's a long one lol I have been trying to find Maxwell Lall Davis/Davies. Of course mum couldn't remember right spelling ??? Couldn't remember his mums name or the sister she met?? He's not on my birth cert. so I am not 'entitled to any information' on him. So tryed BDM, GR and every known genes site, electoral roles, old work (Randwick races), rang all Davis/Davies in area and could find nooothing. Has a hissy fit yesterday so i rang casino police station and asked if he knew of any locals I could contact who might remember him. he told me to contact a local councel member that was a school teacher. When he rang back he said, 'no don't remember Maxwell, remember Tommy Davies and his cousin Wick'. Well 'Wick' is my dads nick name. He rang back after ten minutes and had spoken to a school friend of dads who gave two brothers names grandparents names and where they lived. He is also going to search the cemetery records to see if there are grave stones with info on them. Got straight on GR and found Joy who has a few davies in casino but not ones I knew of but PMed her anyway. came back with a yes and would talk to her sister. Joy rang tonight and asked heaps of questions and talked heaps about the Davies family and said her sister wants to meet me, and that I should meet all my cousins. I am just so over the moon I can't sit still. i don't know whether I should jump around or cry for joy lol Gosh, feels too good to be true. Louisa x
