Hi All Seems like we all had a nice weekend.. Rebs.. You cant leave us,, You will miss us to much.. and we wont have as many jokes that we need to get through the day..We really do love you and as we are such a nice bunch you would miss us too..so please reconsider... Trifle Well I had a nice Martoonie tonight and it was luverly... may have 2 tomorrow night...LOL All is ready for our visitors tomorrow and it is an early night for me tonight. Thank you all for your good wishes & yes love is better the second time around we are definately soul mates,we think alike & just get on so well,not like the first time around. I hope all of you on the sick list are on the mend you know if you moved up to far nth Q'land you wouldn't get colds or flu as the weather is perfect all the time. I have put the seed of thought in Jim's mind about a laptop so we will see what happens but I may have to wait for a while as we have only just bought this puter.(he has also bought me a digital piano & he is looking for a video camera so that we can take plenty of pics of the 6 grandkids when we see them. Gotta go as jim wants to use the phone & we are on dial up here no broadband yet & his mobile doesn't work here either. Talk soon Love Cilla

Well, John had such a good time putt putting around on his few planks (pmsl) that he stayed out nearly all day. Soooooo no plank #13 done yet :) For those of you that weren't at Yarrawonga, this is the SECOND wooden boat he has restored!! The first one is smaller, only 11 ft with a single cylinder engine :) Congratulations with the dress Rebs :) Your daughter must be pretty good too! Lol ~~~~~~~~~to all and see you tomorrow. Vonny

hi gals + tony if you're there. finally finished the 'paper' did it in the best ohs way, have a break every 40 mins. I had a walk just before lunch, put more red in and resisted eating rubbish. golly thats hard. thankgoodness we didn't have any laying about. well count me in on the weight loss effort too. I've got 4 kgs to shift, but whether its 4 or 40 it's going to be an effort. still 'aww'ing at cillas love story. stuck a bottle of red in the fridge,yeh I know it doesn't need to be there, but... we haven't even opened it. possum is asleep on the lounge watching bleak house. They watched a couple of Dr Who's this arvo, and I amazed myself by keeping away. kiddies are all stuffed from cricket training, clever chook losing a kilo suzi! best thing about the x's is you can do them where ever you like, if any body else wants some things - ideas etc, you'll have to pm me. bil and sil got cheap flights to vietnam, $300 for 10 nights. we never saw them either, you think they would have told us. they went to Byron for $5 too the other weekend. Don't matter, Possum said he'll take me somewhere nice when TAFE and Uni finish for the year love yvette x

Just checking in before I hit the hay - For those not at Yarrawonga, Vonny's John did a marvelous job of restoring the boat . . . a real craftsman - so lovely to see old wooden boats restored to their original beauty. Well done Rebs on the dress and to your talented daughter. Sorry to hear your thinking of not renewing GR membership, we have missed you this past couple of weeks. Trifley, either of those dates are good for me . . . I think Ray has some meetings arranged for Monday 4th, but other than that we will just be doing jobs around home. What are the plans ??? Did I see Suzy invite us to hers ?? maybe if that was the go we could all bring a dish to share ??? I will fit in with what everyone else prefers. Gosh - so many long posts to catch up on. Evening to all those still up - by the time I get on here at night everyone is in bed!! Cilla - yours was a great love story. Fluffy - No I didn't find the actual recipe I was after, I sat up till gone 3.30 looking thru all my maggos. I know there are heaps of recipes on google but I particularly wanted that one as it had a muesli style topping. Never mind it will show up when I am hunting for another recipe no doubt! Anna - good luck with sorting out Katherine's Uni. My dtr (mature age) applied to Qld and Uni of NSW and ended up getting into both. I was hoping she'd opt for Qld, but she decided to stay here at home and go to NSW...... Have been out airport and dropped off OH . Wonderful sunny day to fly out of Sydney. Thought I would have a nice quiet evening on my own but married son (school teacher) decided to stay the night here as he has to be at school to take the kids on their school camp by 5.30 a.m. (And course the school just happens to be around the corner from here).. Watch out Vonny for a busload of 10 yr olds screaming their head off, they are heading to Canberra for all the usual sightseeing..... Tony - I've written my WattleLotto date on my kitchen blackboard so I won't forget to put the winning entry on! Lew - Dtr rang from Queenstown today and said snow and skiing there is fabulous. She also said NZ is much cheaper than the Oz skifields. Good idea about Yvette getting us into shape at Mudgee, she can conduct some aqua classes at the Country Comfort Inn. I'm up Lyn, since I only got home about an hour ago - been catching up on the threads. To all those who were overly concerned about my wins at the RSL club - relax - being a caring honest person, I donated it all back to the club. :( Pam - I should be having chicken soup in a day or two ppppppp Take me off the sick list - I dont really have a cold, just some congestion which is hard to get rid of - and a little sore throat. Gidday to all, I meant to congratulate Rebs on the lovely dress she made for her daughter, plus congratulating the daughter as well. .. I hope you drop in from time to time Rebs. Well, the chicken stock is in the fridge now, waiting for the fat to settle. .. Hopefully tonight I'll be having soup, but I will be watching over it like a hawk .. pmsl (Well hawks do watch over chickens dont they? lol) Lyn, hope your son's little darlings have a great time in Canberra ..
