Good arvo Wafflers I received some mail today.....one thing was a lovely wattle key ring and I know what I'm going to use it for. I have one memory stick I use just for Wattler stuff....photos, addies etc. and I'm forever getting it mixed up with the FH one. Not any more...the Wattler stick now has a key ring all its own. Thanks Jude. Another thig in the parcel was a small massage thingy which is powered by a USB plug for the lap top. I'll just plug it in and see how it goes....oooo...it works! Amazing! It is firm but gentle...it...oooo! Uuuhhmm...oooo...that's no good. Well it is but...hang on I'll be back. TX |

Hi Joodles...NO the massager thingy is NOT banana shaped! It's called a 'USB Massage Ball'. It's round, kind of like 2 fried eggs put back to back. It has a long cable which ends in a USB plug for the puta. You then put it against your sore spot while you are puting. I've had it sitting between my shoulder blades (bet you thought somewhere else...pmsl). It was sent to me by a couple of caring friends. I'm a very lucky person to know such people. TX |

Evening Wattlers, another beautful day here today, they said on the radio to expect 30c on Friday, I better go dig my shorts out and shave my legs. I use *free BMD UK * a lot and have often thought about becoming a transcriber, so yesterday I took the plunge and clicked the button, got loads of info so I followed all the links and ended up registering. I have already been sent some work but have a slight problem with downloading some software which I hope my cordinator can help me with. You work at your own pace just maybe an hour or two a week. So far so good with g.son I pop into the school nearly every day and he knows that so I think it helps. Mini meet dates of either 6th & 7th should be fine with me. Glad all the sickies are on the mend luv Jillxx |

Evening wafflers Thanks for all your well wishes. Feel a little better today, at least I can breathe a little more normally instead of gasping for breath. For anyone with a clogged up head, if you can get any Rawleighs Ready Relief use it, really good for using as an inhalent. Couple of drops in a bowl of boiling water, towel over the head and breathe. Then a few drops on a tissue at either end of your pillow in the pillow slip. Don't forget to take out the tissues when you do the washing tho lol.... Laurie, wonderful news. I would be already half way there if it was me. Couldn't stand the suspense. Thanks for the funnies today, but I don't think I'll read anymore for a few days. Massive coughing fit, sore ribs. Lara, start walking in small doses to start with. Start with 5 mins for a few days or a week, then build up to 10 mins etc. until you can do 45 mins then gradually increase the pace so that before you know it you are doing the same distance in less than 30 mins. I don't need no graph to tell me I'm obese, I know it. Have been slack on the exercise myself lately. Trifles, is the massaging thingeee helping. Jood you really are norty. I think it is off to 'that' corner for you. lol Did you enjoy you soup ? Jill, I use that site a lot as well. Have found lots of info through them. Stuff I can't find on familysearch, I can usually find on free bdm. Only thing I find is that you have to be spot on with spelling etc. Some of oh's rellies in one family have 3 different ways of spelling the surname - makes it a bit confusing. I might even make the mini meet with a bit of luck ! Had an email yesterday through GR. This lady and I share the same gt grandfather. We emailed each other and it turns out she is my Dads cousin's daughter. I used to travel by bus to work with her over 30 years ago. She lived just down the road from me. She now lives at Narangba and her Mum is at Morayfield - not far from me - so I have emailed her to try and organise to meet her and maybe her Mum. She said she had only been on the GR site for one day and had found me and a lot more info on her Dad's family......amazing, she said, she is just so excited. Vonny, I just got the traffic jam message too. Not impressed. Also really really slow. Hi Wilson Enough waffling from me Pam |

Evening all :) Oh Laurie, what a wonderful find. When are you going??? :) Fluffy, hope you are better real quick. I did the BMI and it says I am just within bounds but I KNOW I am out of shape. Gotta start walking. Last day of teaching tomorrow for a few weeks. I'll be glad to have a break actually. The next lot of staff should come within the fortnight. They are having some visa difficulties. Gee - not going near Hayman - no way we could afford those prices. Hope you have a great time Tony. Does Barb do competitions while she is on holiday?? Night all, going for a squizz at general but it is a sad place lately. ~~~~~~~~~~to all wattle friends :) Vonny |

90-year old George went for his annual physical. All of his tests came back with normal results. Dr. Smith said, George, everything looks great physically. How are you doing mentally and emotionally? Are you at peace with yourself, and do you have a good relationship with God?' George replied, 'God and me are tight. He knows I have poor eyesight, so he's fixed it so that when I get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, 'poof' the light goes on, when I'm done, 'poof' the light goes off.' 'Wow!' commented Dr. Smith, 'That's incredible!' A little later in the day Dr. Smith called George's wife. 'Ethel,' he said, 'George is doing fine. Physically he's great. But, I had to call because I'm in awe of his relationship with God. Is it true that he gets up during the night and 'poof' the light goes on in the bathroom, and then when he is through 'poof' the light goes off?' Ethel exclaimed, 'Oh, my goodness! He's weeing in the refrigerator again! |

Good morning Wattlers. (Hiya Jood and Shaz (see your on msn. . . ) Another glorious sunrise on Botany Bay, so many colors - a little haze on the horizon, but it just makes it all the more spectacular. I think it is going to be a lovely warm day. There are three giraffes with their heads up - and an oil tanker has just started to enter the Bay. Well sanity prevails - no quick trip out to West Wyalong to check out the big finds from the wardrobe clear out - I will just have to wait until I get back from up home. Hope you all have a lovely day, I will . . . after I have been to the accountant (which will be like a trip to the dentist) - I am sure TLR pays him extra to take me on a guilt trip !!!! It's gone - I spent it - get over it !!!. Best go get some chores done before I head out cheers luv Laurie |
