Morning Wattlers, weather's a bit murky in Mudgee today, so hopefully we might get some rain. Heather, sorry that I didn't catch up with you when I was in Bright, but with the lurgy I had/have, you wouldn't have wanted to see me, lol. Next time, I promise. And congrats to you daughter. Tony, sounds like you and Barb had a great time. We love island holidays, although Terry has just suggested a run up to Noosa in my new car, so look out you Qld mob, lol. Spent yesterday cleaning up my FH records, so I'm off to town shortly to buy some more folders. Also I need to buy the winning Lotto ticket. Gee, Von, hope we get tickets with the same numbers, lol. The new Mudgee Tourist guide has just come out this week, so I'll drop into the Tourist Office and pick up a dozen copies. All those coming to the Mudgee Meet, please email me your postal addresses so I can send you a copy. Lara, there are 3 caravan parks in town and they're in the Guide which I will send to you. How are you today SuzyQ? Get better soon or Dr Lew will have to prescribe you a little something, heeee, heeeeee! How's that chicken soup Jood? Hope it was worth all that effort. As a respected physician, I can assure you all that there are no calories in martoonies or red wine or white wine or beer or spirits or baileys, heeeee, heeeee, heeeee. Well, off for a shower and a trip to the shops. Chat later Lew Lew xxx |

Morning Wattlers, another fine day today but we are desperate for rain. A big thank you to Judy DIY for my keyring, Ron only gave me the envelope last night, it'd been sitting on his desk in the office for a couple of days. men! You are very clever, thanks again. Well Jess and I went to see the play yesterday and we both thoroughly enjoyed it, afterwards she met all the cast and they signed her programe. It was a lovely day out for both of us. Her older sister was unable to come as she had grade seven exams to take, so to make up for missing out I'm treating her to a trip to the cinema. Liam was bought a pair of new jeans, (he was to young to go) Funny really as the tickets were free because of my niece but it cost me a small fortune so the other two didn't miss out.lol. Sorry to hear you are unwell SuzyQ, I haven't suffered from sciatica since I went and saw an osteopath, I know how bad the pain can be I would sometimes cry it was so bad. Take care of yourself. I may be going to Europe with a girlfriend next Febuary, so if it happens I won't be able to come to Mudgee, can I let you know by the end of Oct. please ? luv Jillx |

Morning All :) I've been up and out since 6.30 so about ready to go back to bed!! Boy, there is a lot to know about lotteries. I thought I'd drop into my local newsagency to get the winnings and another ticket only to be informed that they only do NSW Lotteries which are different to Tatts -Lotto!! Gee......... So I'll go out and pay some bills at the Westfield Centre in Belconnen this afternoon and get it all then. Happy moving to Tassie - that's something I don't want to do ever again :) Going to partake of some meaningful lesiure activities (Laurie ********* :) before I do some other work that can't be mentioned. (how's that for political correctness?) *grin* ~~~~~~~~~Vonny |

nearly lunch time. it was raining this morning so went out early to remove 6 lines of clothes, now have to stick it back out again. have been out doing essential stuff so didn't go to uni. have to go there shortly and juggle the afternoon playing catch up. My life gets to be so much of a mess sometimes that what I need to do is just sit here and waffle. possum is just overwhelmed with working normal hours, he's not doing much more than work, sleep, eat, with the occasional walk the pooch. some of the offspring too are not in the good books with me either, so have managed to yell without screaming. b****y kids. have read 'them' the riot act in no uncertain terms i hate admitting this, but i will have to wait a bit to book my room. need the guilt attack people to make a 'larger' commitment to my classes. (they are the ones making my vocation, my vacation) oo suzi, i've had sciatica too, not nice at all and its so draining. be lovely to yourself. sorry about the moan, but thanks for the balloons. love Yvette x |

Hello again, Just thought I'd let you all know it's pouring RAIN here hoooooray, I mean the real stuff, not just drizzle piddle lol. Jill hope you get some, I think it's that low from WA coming across the bottom of Oz, so Q'lders may miss out, hopefully central NSW will get some though. How nice to miss Mudgee because you will be in Europe, Jill !! Lew it's fine about last week I was a bit tied up anyway and probably couldn't have got to Bright. Hope you are on the mend now. What are you reading this week? I love to hear what people are reading 'cos then when I finally get around to a book I can choose something that has been recommended. I keep meaning to buy myself a copy of Lark Rise to Candleford, it was my Mum's fave book and I read it so long ago, now I feel the urge to reread it. I've just finished Catcher in the Rye, I'll give it to DD15 when she's finished Big Brother - I mean, 1984. I like talking books to her. Shazz, my DD has microphone and headphones and chats to people but I don't know how !!! I use her headphones to listen to the radio on the computer cos I can listen to old ABC programs that I miss otherwise, and don't wake anyone up ( my best computer hours are v early morning esp in summer). Guess what it's noon and I'm going HOME !! It's the first time in ages we have full staff and are all caught up - let me out of here. My spare room is a dump and I'm off to attack it !!! ~~~~~~ to Vonny (how are the Metcalfe's going ?) mwah to all, Hz in Albury |

Do you have a pool you can float around in, saves sitting..... Queenie, thanks for the Comphy info. How did the dillies go today - sell lots ??? Hope you didn't have a hang over !! Anna, How is Katherine today ? Did you find any useful stuff at the Library ? Hz, congrat to daughter on her achievements. Well done. Just exactly how many drinkies did you have last night Hz ??? Enjoy your afternoon off and please send the rain this way. Welcome back to the real world Tony. Glad you enjoyed you hols. There are fires around Bris at the moment and north westerly winds are supposed to arrive tomorrow, so hopefully the firies will have those fires out today. Just starting to get a little bit breezy now. Laurie, if TLR wants my bum on your seat (at the footy), I'll be there with bells on... lol. Then again, if he really wants it, I can carry his suitcases to Singapore for him. Was going to spend a week there a few years ago when the SARS epidemic broke out. Would like to get there some day. Hi Lew Lew, will pm my postal address. What sort of new car did you get. I can't remember now and I am looking for one myself. Don't know what I really want yet, getting more confused the more I look. Start packing Tassie...................Glad its you and not me. Did that a couple of years ago after 30+ yrs in one place. Eeeeeek Bummeeeeerr - just got home via food shop - happened to be behind stoopid driver who turned right from the left hand lane in front of me and got collected by the driver coming up beside me on the right - whacko !! I keep a sheet in my glove box about details you need in case of accident, so was able to stop and give them both a copy and leave my details in case they need a witness. The lady in the wrong just phoned me and I had to confirm she was not in the correct lane to turn right!! I think she was confused in the rain and all. OK, I'm all right now, have planned next two nights meals, just about to go through freezer while upacking grockeries, then I can enter the dreaded spare room and attempt to tidy it up. Still raining here !! :)) Hz |

((((Hugs))))) to Hz, Yvette & Donna Hz - glad you're okay - not a good way to start your arvo off Donna - feel for you - unfortunately as parents we don't know what goes on in our kid's heads - hopefully one day and soon for your sake things will work out. Thinking of you - whinge away anytime you want - better to get it off your chest than let it build up too much. Yvette - I don't know how you manage what you do - you're always so on the go - don't overdo it tho Well it's cold, wet and miserable looking but I'm not complaining well only about it being cold - lol I've cooked one meal for my boys while I'm away - will do some more next week to get them thru 3 weeks without me. Probably come home to half of it still in the freezer but at least my intentions will have been good. Tomorrow night's tea has also been cooked so when I get in from work tomorrow providing darling son isn't hogging net I might be able to catch up without feeling too guilty - oh to h*ll with it why should I feel guilty - pmsl Tassie - being the nosy cow that I am - well if you want answers in FH it's a taken - your new house isn't one of the sold properties on RealEstate*com*au is it - there's a couple of very nice looking places I wouldn't mind moving into? Good luck with the packing - I'm probably the only person here saying 'wish it was me' - only so I could get rid of some of the c**p we have accumulated. Shazz & Jood - thank you for son's birthday wishes - might get out for dinner next week but at least I was able to whip up a choccie cake for when he got in from work. Glad everyone's enjoying the balloons - I've got a house full now - should think so has everyone else - lol Back to the kitchen to tidy up from my cooking spree ~~~~~~waving to everyone~~~~~~ Gwenda |
