Honey I'm Home !!!! But I'm home alone . . . . Just a quick message to let you all know I arrived safe & sound, got here and I didn't have a key to the house so couldn't get in until Glen came out after work. He changed the locks and Apparently I didn't have a new key, one Glen gave us went onto Rays key ring. . . Bonus was I got to see my Glen, and his gf Narelle, he is such a good bloke. Proud mummsy, but I am allowed to be! He got a great new job this week, still with Powerlink. He is ever so tall - I'm sure he gets taller every time I see him, (dont tell me I am shrinking . . . wont have it!) Another bonus is that TLR will fly into Brissie tomorrow evening instead of Friday morning, so I'm only home alone for one night. Going to have a read back on the waffle now and catch up with what you have all been up to and then I'm going to bed . . . in my very own special old bed. Glen helped me put the bed together before he headed back to the city, first time its been up in 5 years. I even put all the dags and dilburys around the posts. Now I feel like I am really home! Night all - hope all is well with everyone, catch you tomorrow luv Laurie

Tony if you want to read about my bad rellies on the Old Bailey site - they got nabbed for doing the crime together, both ended up out here and got back together again and had a great tribe of kids. Elizabeth Phipps and James Westbrook - they are my 3 x gtgrandparents. Reading it I decided I didn't like my 4 x gtgran Susannah, I think she set the daughter up!!!!! Well ratted on her anyway !!! cheers luv Laurie ~~~~~~ night nite

Yes, Wattlers, it's 3.20 am and I'm sitting here listening to the chainsaw chorus again! Wise decision you have made, Trifles. Gotta keep those baddies at bay. Jood, how long does it take for the spots to fade? You must look like a dalmation puppy *me thinks she might make a nice coat, heeee, heeeee* Mmmm, Laurie, family change the locks and don't give you a key. Any message there, lol? Thanks for the drawings Yvette. I'll have to laminate them and hang them by the pool. Still a bit chilly for swimming just yet, but I'll let you know how I go. Mary, I didn't get any pickles *stomps feet and pouts* Well, I'm going to play some of the word games then try to get back to sleep. Power outage from 9 'til 1 tomorrow, so you probably won't hear from me until late. Seeya Lew Lew xxx

Morning all and Lew Lew, face clears up quite fast, surprisingly, - the ones on the hand a little longer. I'd say a few days for the face. My face is a bit of a mess, but it doesnt bother me in any way, because everyone has sunspots etc. removed at some stage or other. Tony as I said, face is ok - just wish I could shake this congestion off - especially as I am flying to Geelong on Monday for a few days. Fingers crossed. Laurie, glad you made it safe - see even the boys didnt want fugitives on the run in your house!!! Busy day today - rush rush - must fly. Shaz, morning to you - I see you lurking around lol Have a great day all. Jood

Morning all, we are having some fantastic rain at present, the good old fashioned steady stuff. our dam is full and the wild ducks are going wild with bliss, bet there will be lots of baby ducks soon. How's that face coming along Joodles, they do heal pretty quickly, Ron had five on his forehead zapped, one a really big one and they have all healed up nicely and that was just over a week ago. He's off up to Maroochydore this afternoon for a couple of days, installing a new telephone system so I shall be home alone except for the dogs of course. It's been ages since he's worked away, going to be a bit strange to have the remote control all to myself.lol Belated happy aniversary congrats to you and your husband Fluffy, mine is at the end of Sept. better start dropping hints soon I suppose, although Ron always remembers our aniversary it's birthdays he forgets the dates of. Glad you made it home okay Laurie your son sounds like a smashing boy. It's a lovely feeling of pride, when they have grown up and you think to yourself, my you've turn out well, sounds daft but you know what I mean. luv Jillx

Afternoon Wattlers Well youngest is booked into new high school for next year. So everything is sorted out , just the last bit of the packing and organising how to get furniture from one place to another, we have got plenty of offers for help, its just do we go with a couple of trailers or hire a van incase the unmentionable happens???? it falls from the sky lol. Anway I am not sure what will happen on here tomorrow as my membership is due tomorrow. I clicked on the spot for automatic renewal on 'My Account Details' page about 3 or 4 weeks ago, however I have a little message on the top left hand side of page, just under my name and where it says Im a full member til. So I have sent GR a message asking if it will be automatically renewed or will I have to do it manually. I dont want it paid twice, I am waiting for them to reply to me so I know what to do. Not sure if they cut you off at the begining of the day or the end if you are not paid up. Has anyone else been in this situation? Ok better go and do a bit more, will pop back in after. ~~~~~~~ to everyone. P.S Hello Sylvia, you popped in while I was typing. I hope everything is going ok with you and Norman. I finally met Mary in Sydney when I went over for the meet, not sure if you have both met in person, but she is as lovely as she sounds on the puta. Please pop in when you can. Im sure we will all make you welcome, Eveyone is sooo nice here. Cheers Sue

Hello from rainy Cedar Grove . . . so lovely to listen to the rain on the roof during the night, and the frogs !!! just hope they haven't got in my plumbing again! Lots of gardening to do . . . but that can wait - the weeds will come out better after the good soaking. Sitting here thinking what will I do - I know . . . nothing !!! So thats just what I have been doing all morning just looking and enjoying being here. Just me and the spider webs !! They know when there is noone home don't they - just come in and squat! Can't expect it to be any different when you live in the bush though. The colours in the bush were amazing on the trip up - everywhere there are natives bursting into flower - just can't wait for real spring. All this lovely rain will make sure we have a beautiful bush spring. Yes Jill, I have two wonderful sons, who have grown into amazing young men and I dont mind admitting I am very proud of them . . . gives you goosies thinking about them . . . Well off to see if I can get the hot water started - it wont beat me!! luv Laurie talk later

Hi Laurie.....isn't the rain wonderful? Didn't know Canugra had a Rissole or a pub. Didn't know canunra existed untill a while ago....pmsl. Happy about a counter lunch....no worries. Donna....change that BIG PPPing to minor flooding. Gotta go shut the windows. TX

It all depends on the Council. It might close the playing fields. And open them as swimming pools! I've gotta go to the chemist in a short while. I'll go past the fields and see what they look like. I think I might have to put on another layer of clothes.....it's getting cool. I'll check back later. TX
