Hiya All, Well how the devil are you all tonight? Not long been in from my few days in Perth -had a super time....enjoyed going on the cruise down to Fremantle...weather was very kind for Lolly and I. Tonight we are having a quite night in and tomorrow we are going back to Perth for the Footie....it will be the first live Aussie Footie match we have ever seen....Lolly is getting very excited about it. Hubbie went home last Sunday....poor thing didn`t have a very good flight....bumpy all the way and when he got back to the U.K. the weather was really bad....and he had a bad landing. On his flight had an english scoccer player called Wayne Rooney. The airline lost his case...has arrived now. Things went from bad to worse.... we thought we would have some work done on our house while away...and couldn`t believe it when Hubbie told me they(the workmen) hit the gas mains..thank god the house is still standing and then on wednesday the buggers hit the electric cable to our garage were we keep our freezers...and they had not realised until yesterday when they needed some power...food by then was well on it`s to being defrosted.......makes me wonder whats going to happen next. Off to get something to eat....found a lovely pub. Speak soon.....Take Care All. Love R.B. xx

Gidday Raggy, glad you are having a good time in Perth. You will enjoy the footie - dont tell the others, because the footie they play there (in Perth) is different to what they play here (In Sydney). If you are going to Subiaco, then I have been to that very same oval watching grand finals. .. Have been known to arrive about 10 in the morning to get a good seat, and then sit under the groundsheet while it poured all day. lol. Ok Tony - maybe it will be one of my 10 lines that wins anyway !!! I'm outa here and off to bed. Night all Jood

do you know you can see the lotto results online. I'll only be in front of the tele for dr who and then i'm back up the hall to my dungeon. I am the worlds worst tv viewer. It's supposed to be another grand day here in S/harbour tomorrow. 27 or something. Can imagine there will be a few sunburnt noses getting about.Traditionally its my first day of swim in the sea on father's day. I so look forward to it, and mostly the weather turns it on for me. I anticipate going for a little paddle in the kayak maybe a spot of fishing and then immersion. By doing it on fathers day i never have to remember the date or mark it on the calendar. Possum doesn't even know about the wattle lotto. Doesn't care about fathers day either, so we thought just for something different, we might get him a present. Hi raggy bear! your holiday seems to have gone really quickly. Trifley, surely you don't need any more tiaras. Night lovely wattlers Yvette x

Good evening Wattlers . . . Well our Wattle Day is nearly over, but Spring is here good and proper! So sad . . . we couldn't do any jobs around the house today as we realised Glen still had the keys to the shed. (any excuse will do) So after a phone call from tomorrows bride, who is all in a tizz cause she has so much to do - we offered to do some of the jobs for her . . like go buy the guest register book, and pick up a rellie off the plane. The rellie bit was easy, then the buying of the book led us to Garden City - where we spent the rest of the day! Leg weary but most happy with retail therapy we purchased prawns and headed to friends over the creek and have spent a lovely evening with the prawns, the chardy & the friends . . . the friends Chris & Sue are the only ones to survive the evening with us !!!! The lovely Ray was seen leaving the jewelry shop with pretty little bag all taped up so I cant get inside !!! (Just putting the kettle on to see if steam does the trick) he says I have to wait till Sunday!!! Wattie, you look right at home up the tree - thanks Lew. Goodness gracious - how exciting all them numbers in tomorrows draw . . . and I will be off line . . . eating wedding cake! sms's are welcome !!!!! Instead of a Kit Kat Tony, I want a chockito bar !!! Please ????? (Though one of them plasma thingys in the cabin on the cruise will do just fine) Mary, before I go to Kew with you will you remind me to buy a little scanner so I can copy direct to puter all the things I want copies of !!! Oh and I will need a day down at the records office at Canterbury Cathedral too !! Sandra, lets have mussells together down on Whitstable beach !!! RB - dont worry about what is happening at home - not your problem, the OH can look after it all and have the mess cleaned up before you get home. Enjoy your holiday !!! Di, TLR is still laughing his head off at the lady with the steering wheel . . . says he is going to get one for me !!! Hope you all have a lovely weekend - Vonny will have left already, and hopefully the football ground will be ready for the big game on Sunday (might be good luck - the opposition might be useless on the wet ground) Night all - off to check some more mail and hit the sack cheers luv Laurie

Morning all You put us to shame Fanny! All that energetic exercising. Fanny - I get the lotto results on line every week!!! They take about 10 minutes to come through. Then I copy and paste for you lot on here. Seems like Laurie has spent some of our winnings already, with birthday presents, trips to the archives, mussels on the beach in the UK. Mary I love the markets on the beach at Darwin too. Altho Alice is nice, I love the drive to the East and West McDonell Ranges, I love Dalhousie Springs, in NT, Carnarvon Gorge in FNQ - thems just a few of my favourite things (sorry places). .. I always say you could spend months in FN Qld alone. .. (reminiscing now!) Lots of jobs to do today, but as usual no energy or inclination to do them. .. To have some of Mary's energy would be great. Have a great day all, Jood

Good Morning Wattlers Have been trying to keep up with the thread all week but its been mostly a loosing battle. Jood Mandurah was very relaxing lovely walks along the beach, I had a rest from doing all the cooking as I managed to convince Ken to cook meat, chicken or fish on the BBQ everynight, had a dishwasher in the apartment so got off very easy- lol. didn't want to come home but thats always the way of it.The new rail line from Perth to Mandurah will be a blessing for them I'm sure. Its certainly a go ahead place WA. Didn't get to have fish and chips at Freo but did have delicious coffee and Ken had a really yummy desert (according to him). Laurie you sound sooo happy to be home - have a great time. Hi there, Make mine a chokito also please. I want to know who is going to check all the tickets. Maybe we could do it in rotation so we all check just one ticket as long as it isn't our own. SuzyQ checks Flakey Flakey checks Tassie Tassie Checks Yvettes Yvette checks Laurie Laurie checks Vonny Vonny checks Anna Anna checks Lara Lara checks Trifley Trifley checks Leah Leah checks Judy Yv Judy YV checksJood Jood checks Jill Jill checks Fluffy Fluffy checks Lew Lew checks Tony Tony checks Mary Mary checks SuzyQ We all check Wattie and the regular numbers. Sorry if have missed any. What do you think? Ofcourse those who want to check them all are crazy. Just kidding. Who idea was this anyway? And I thought I had to buy a $10 ticket not a 10 line ticket. Why did Mary get 30 lines ? Felling a bit better today, hopefully I will make Tuesday, what time? Also I don't think the outpost is licenced so if you want a drink with lunch I think it will have to be BYO, unless we change the venue to the pub or RSL. Hi Sylvia, I hope you become a regular, it is always nice to have a chat with you. I may be a bit behind, but did the family moe back near you from Broken hill? Cilla, I also missed the snake and cat story, but I hope all is well now. Well, can't stay long, go a visitor Catch up later today SuzyQ
