OMG told you I am going bonkers for sure sorry at least you have someone to laugh at eh I know why too got up at 6:30am this morning was going for walk but didn't , and was weally confused never been up that early in life PMSL anyway you all very rude to laugh at me you'll all be old and crazy one day . I became a great aunt today my brothers son's Justin's wife had baby girl her name is Alicia Carole and according to my brother she is absolutly beautiful of course he wouldn't be predjudiced would he LOL Mary say thanks but no thanks to Spider he is or was good but think he must be trouble as he used to play for Saints and now wants to leave Hawks bit suss I think anyway now Ive provided your laugh for the day I am going to bed they say your memory and brain improves the more sleep you have what Bl***Y hope do I have I ask you Pmsl love Lara

Evening all Just checking in before I go to bed. Thanks for the pics, looks like you all had fun. Yes I am nearly packed and ready to go, still have a week here, I have a funny feeling it is going to go soooo slooooow. Incase I cant get on here for a while dont worry, I am ok, well except for being p*****d off. Our broadband will be cut off at this place tomorrow and we are supposed to be able to use dial up internet service, but we are having all kinds of fun, have ran Dodo and wouldnt you know it they are, as they put it extremely busy at the moment and a technician will get back to us within about 24 hours !!!!!! Great. So what is happening is we can dial in but it disconnects before we can do anything much as in a minute or two. I have got Sheila to do the birthday thread, incase anyone is wondering, just to be safe if I cant get on here. I am sure that if anyone needs to contact me for example if we win big on Lotto this Saturday, I believe SuziQ has my ph numbers on the wattlelist, also a couple of others that I have met should have my number. Well I guess this is it so if I cant get back on before next Fri 15th or Sat 16th, I hope everyone stays well, has fun and maybe miss me just a little bit, as I know I will miss all of my great friends I have made on here, Gee I sound sooo morbid now, but if I cant get on here I have no excuse to not do h******k Boo Hoo. ps. David just added that he is going to blame Dodo if he has to put up with a grumpy female due to not getting her daily Wattle fix pmsl. Cheers Sue

Ah Flakey, Your daughters have brought back lovely memories for me! Last year while I was in Vegas with Ray for a conference, he sent me off for a day trip on a helicopter to the Canyon. It was brilliant !!! The chopper pilot was terrific, he swept low over the Hoover Dam first, then up and down in the Canyon making sure we saw everything from every angle. Then he landed down the bottom and I dangled my feet in the Colorado River - we were suppose to have a champagne lunch down by the river, but the picnic basket had been left behind (teehee) Turned out to be a blessing to me, I went for a nice walk along the river and once around the bend away from everyone else it was like I was in the an old cowboy & itchybum movie. I kept looking along the ridges for the Itchybums to show up!! lol Then we took off again and went further into coves in the canyon - and then landed up on the rim so we could get some photos from up there !! It was a magic day !! Such an amazing place - I think the size and the colours are what blew me away. But then you could say the same thing about Vegas . . . . the size & the colours !!!! How-de-do-de Wattlers I am one tired little Waffler tonight. It is amazing how tireing talking can be. Not, of course, that I did much of it....after all I am the quiet one....heee heee. The pickle of me doing a pole dance must have been altered using computer graphics. Could any of you imagine the Queen doing something like that? We all behaved ourselves.....didn't get kicked out of the Rissole, so we must have been good. I think if today was a dress rehersal then Mudgee is going to be fantastic. Good afternoon all you lovely Wattlers!! Laurie... wonderful pics you sent me.. seems you had a great time and I feel I must send my Poledancing Crown to Trifley...lol... Some new faces for me and hope to catch you all next year... it seems I may be over around July but will of course keep you updated on that nearer the time... maybe a national meet could be arranged? Or am I asking too much? The weather is very changeable here at the moment... our heatwave was short lived and we now have an abundance of rain... as usual... My diet seems to be working .. have lost 10lbs since the Blackpool trip... don't look much different... but I must admit, me backside is a bit smaller...lol...well according to the tape measure anyway... Am just taking a break on here from that dreaded household chore...ironing... but needs must, as if I don't do it, I will be walking round in a bin bag... All my family are well and everything is ticking along nicely for a change... will be xmas before we can turn round, and then it's gonna be sorting out mine and Ians trips around the globe... he still hasn't decided where yet but definitely coming in May, so at least I have a starting point .... Looks like everyone had a great time, and a finer bunch a good lookin sheila's you wont find anywhere. Trifley, did you eventually rip that pole out of its foundations?? Congrats, Great Aunty Lara.and welcolm into the world Alicia Carole. Been flat out like a lizard drinking, and painting is finished. Walls are 'Apollo Bay' and Cornices, Picture railing, Skirting Door frame to Ensuite are 'Upsteam' ...Cool colors......very beach effect. A 6ft x 1ft enlarged Photo in a frame will hang above our bed head, of one of our Holidays on either Hamilton or Hayman Island.. ( When i build the Bed of course...lol ) that i am having enlaged. G'Morning Wattlers, Fantastic pickles everyone - obviously all had a lovely lovely time eating and the entertainment looked superb Trifley!! Raining here yipee. Had nice Father's Day weekend full of people in the house, I got to meet more parents of DD's friends - coffee's and cuppas all weekend as they dropped off or picked up kids. Gave OH strawberry plants and last night he made a big frame to grow them under. DD15 got into the Pipe Band ! She drums a tenor drum - I've never seen her actually do the twirly bits with the drumsticks so that will be a thrill at the next event. Uniform is hired out by the school for a nominal charge thank heavens, all that tartan! Counting down now till DD15 leaves for Japan - seriously small suitcase going, so have to think carefully about wardrobe. Congrats Lara on becoming a Great Aunt to Alicia ! Terrible shock about Steve Irwin, very sad for his young family. Better get the day going in this house, did I say it's raining - still !! ~~~~~ Hz in Albury

Tassie Sue Happy moving day when it comes, you sound organized. Yesterday our pc wouldent boot up, had power to it but no action, we have a Del pc so rang them on their freecall number in Malayasia and they talked us through what the problem could be. To say our pc is out of warranty they were so helpful and did fix the problem, saved money having to ring a technician, and what it is was the memory part had come loose inside the large box(if you know what I mean) Well am still in night clothes at this hour of the morning, will never do lol so had better get a move on Will see you all later cheers everybody Sandra in the Gong

They're predicting some for Mudgee too, so keep your fingers crossed. Tony, we have some fantastic art galleries in Mudgee. It's a bit of an artists haven. Terry and I used to have a gallery in the back of an old butcher shop. It was called 'The Butchers Hook' and we held lots of exhibitions. Pleased to hear your other 'painting' is coming along nicely. Great to chat with all you waffling Wattlers at Canungra yesterday and what a lovely surprise that Anna showed up. Sorry I couldn't make it, but it wouldn't be a surprise if I showed up for every Meet would it! SuzyQ, you just take care of yourself and make sure that our Neville waits on you hand and foot. Morning all. lovely day today but it is supposed to come to an end this aternoon OH has gone off to see the quack but his results didnt come..Hope the doc can ring through and get the results that way.. Hi Everyone, Immmmm Baaaaack !!!!!!, I have missed reading the wattle dust for three weeks. So have only read back a few pages, why is it that when you are at work, you think you will have sooo much time to do this and that when you are on holidays... then when you are on holidays, there is no time to do anything lol. I have been madly tripping about from WA to QLD in the last month or so and havn't been still for a moment. Arrived home a couple of days ago, and now am in Melb baby sitting grandy for three days. I had great plans to catch up with other wattlers here and there, but didn't get the chance, I have spent a lot of time with no phone and no transport. Now i realise how hooked on modern technology i am lol. Two more weeks until i go back to work YUK, i think i have taken too long off and could easily retire now.....if only my purse would let me lol. Hopefully i will be able to catch up on all the news over the next few days, hope everyone who is having tests, get good results, and anyone who is unwell, feels better soon. Take Care Wilson
