yepedy yep, i'm still up. had a squiz at the 'whole yard' and a look over 'next doors fence' kiddies are watching a mushy movie, possum won't be back until 2.30 and the doggies only want to go out when they need a pee. I am totally jealous I prefer a warmer climate. It takes maximum distraction to negotiate winter for me. Thats why I like working at the pool so much, its always warm there and i get to wear minimal clothing. Haven't got to the shower yet, but have the dressing gown on over my clothes. its a real fashion statement!! Love Yvette x

Well my hols in Oz are nearly over and i have had a lovely time.....it`s gone far to quick....roll~on next year. This week i have spent going back up to Perth for a last look around and buying some lovely bits to take back, Freo for the fantasic Fish`n`Chips and the best bit of the week had to be seeing a beautiful sunset while on the beach at Rockingham. Tomorrow i am going to look at a house that hubbie & i saw when he was over here.....it is south of Mandurah,so many lovely houses going up around here. Morning all, Hi Raggy Bear, .. Rockingham is just the loveliest place. .. My cousin has a two storey house overlooking the beach. .. We used to go to Rockingham for Sunday School picnics, the swimming area was just great for little kids. .. (Memories of ice creams, water melon and ginger beer spring to mind) .. And of course sunsets are very special at any beach along the West Aussie coast. .. A must do every time I go back to Perth - go to a restaurant on the beach just prior to sunset. The sun is trying to come out - it's a bit breezy, but dry. .. No idea what sort of day will eventuate, but I will assume my washing will dry. I've started to keep a record of our winnings as from Wattie - unfortunately I don't recall what Vonny & I won previously. Have a great day all. Jood

Morning Wattlers from a cold and windy Mudgee. Just returned home from last night's dinner, lol. We decided to do some wine tasting, so we stayed the night in town with friends. Not worth the risk of driving, even thought I felt that I could have. I see that Wattie has come through again, this time with $25.60. Add this to the remainder of last week's winnings and we have $50.55. Next week the jackpot is $22M. For $50.10 we could get three Megapicks (30 lines in each). What do you all think? Hi Again, I think our little mascot is weaving his magic. Stayed out longer than expected yesterday ended up at a friends house. I agree with you Anna, nothing much to chose from in the elections. A friend of mine doesn't vote at all. She goes along, gets her name crossed off and then puts the blank form in the box. Wonder what would happen if we all did that. Maybe they would get the message. Trifley, don't get into pollitics. Most go in with good intentions but they either end up out or conforming to party rules. I can see you being another Pauline, ( not implying that you have her views although maybe she got it partly right. Some of her ideas have now been adopted )). Not much happening today. It's a bit overcast and rain is forecast, but it is warm. Can ayone give me the addy of the new site, I didn't save it and now I can't find it. I would like to keep in there just in case. Morning All, Nice poem SuzyQ, I really feel for his wife and children. Ahhhh Tassie another woody drinker, now i feel really at home lol. Not planning on doing too much today, eldest daughter and grandson have just left, dropped in for a very quick visit. Her oh needed to help his father this morning, we are so lucky that his parents live fairly close to us. It means that when ever they visit them we usually get a look in too, and visa versa. Might do some baking this afternoon, some of the guys from work are coming tomorrow for what we call a cwa meeting....everyone has to cook something scrummy and NO bought goods allowed. Lots of work talk and general debriefing goes on, for me this time, it will be a build up to returning to work. Although i have to admit i am having trouble finding any enthusiasm at this stage lol. ~~~~~~Hi Wattlers, overcast and cold today, who's got the sun???? We had a great time at the countdown concert last night. I t started at 7 and went til 11 with only a 20min interval. Pretty good for about $65. The music was fantastic but some of those old rockers look like they've led a bit of a tough life....lol I see our little Wattie is a good luck charm for us, lets hope he can bring in the big money next time and we could have a welcome home party ready for when he returns.. Afternoon Peeps Another Sh..y day today..Had enough of this drought breaking rain and would like the drought to come back for a couple of weeks at least..We have more Kiwi visitors ariving on Friday so I would like the weather to be fine for them while they are here. Lew Do whatever you like with the money as long as we get tickets for a big win, and the one you mentioned seems a good one.. Suzy Loved the poem and it is so true... Didnt the Sydney Swans play well last night...It was a good match and we only got there by the skin of our teeth by 1 point.in the last few minutes.. Mel.. Get yourselfs a Daiken as they are wonderful and they sit on the wall and warm you in winter and cool you in summer,, We are getting one put in this week as we had one in the other house and found it fab. G'day all . . . morning over - and nothing much to show for it . . . have read the sundy papers from wo to go so now have useless infor stored . . . but that doesn't really count does it. We were waiting for the boys to arrive for the day, but they got stuck in traffic up north, an accident and a storm, and the storm clouds are building up down here so we told them to turn back. Guess I will just have to go through there 'stuff' without them . . . tee hee at least there will be a whole lot less crap stored when I have finished . . though probably not second thoughts, I will probably hang on to more than they would. But it will be the good crap of memories that I hold onto - not the worn out and garbage clothes that they never seem to toss! We came to an agreement this morning on the bathroom renos . . . I gave in !!! Not like me - but I have had an even bigger win with TLR telling friends we will be home to stay within about a year! I have the job of getting the place ready for our return, so will be home more often to arrange things. Glad you have enjoyed your time in Oz RB, hope all is well when you return home and the freezer has been restocked (lol). You realise dont you, that after being here during our winter, your winter is going to be hard to take this year!! You dirty stop out Lew Lew, did you find some good drops though . . . share the labels with us!! Hope Mudgee has some magic numbers in store for the little bear this week - about a mil each would be lovely thanks! TLR & I are having a great laugh here - just got sms from the gorgeous Lara, she is over the moon because she has found a convict !! I have a little program on my computer called WinPatrol, and Scotty the dog looks after me. .. He barks when a program wants to put itself in start. .. It's almost like having a dog in the house, he is very polite, just barks once. .. He is a little black terrier, and he lives on my system tray. Jood <who is an anibul lover>

Went out for a bit to woolies and Dan Murphy's with Possum. (he don't do hangovers) I put a load of spuds in the oven this morning wrapped up in foil with a scrape of butter. slow cooked them and we've had them for lunch with assortment of mushrooms leek banana chillis garlic and sour cream (lite of course ) yum I work on Fridays, actually work each day 'cept Thursday , which is spent tring to learn. I'm passed the 1/2 way mark of lunacy weeks, exams are 1st week of Nov. then I'll be able to kick back for a while. Love Yvette x

Hi Wattlers, WEt, Wet, Wet in the Gong. Jood, would love to come to mini meet but I see my daughter no1 only on Fridays so is out also not keen driving that far on my own (I know wussy me)lol They had the annual Spring into Corrimal today poor things it still went ahead but what weather, I only popped there to go to Woolies and there was still a lot of people around. Can anyone remember those little funny saying's you could buy in pkts I think, that you use to put with photos to make funny captions, I have been trying to buy some but local newsagents don't sell them, might try photo shops tomorrow. I am doing a book up for my Grandson's 21st and thought funny captions would make it more interesting. Well back to this book, I have so many pictures (first Grandchild then you see) but it's funny to look back and remember different things and oh I looked so young and slimmer then LOL .
